We played off the idea of incorporating the bee into each design but ultimately chose minor disaster.

Idea

sAs stated in the brief, it suggested that we apply our work to a story in the news/issue in society - who isn’t more of an issue than Donald Trump himself.We initially played around with a few other ideas, including the shocking fact of bees becoming addicted to certain pesticides - strayed away from this due to graphic imagery.

- He has recently lifted the ban on pesticides linked to the decline in the bee population

- This poses a great threat to pollination insects

So, we decided to base our idea around this. We wanted to experiment with different medias, using digital drawings, hand drawings and collage.
