Lakheri Cement Works is operationalsince 1917 with dry process plant thenwhen through up-gradation 1997 withdry process plant on 5th January 2005LCW have received EC for Expansion ofcement plant from 0.4MTPA to 1.5MTPA& Setting up Captive Power Plant of 25MW capacity & Cement Plant. CaptivePower Plant was commissioned in 2007.

Present proposal is for amendment in theEC for change in fuel mix in the existingplant. Hence no alternate site wasexamined.
