AFMDA mourns the recent loss of Noah Rockowitz, AFMDA Westchester Leadership Award co-recipient, 2014.

Noah was an ardent Zionist and devoted local leader for AFMDA. He was passionate about building support in Westchester to advance MDA’s lifesaving work in Israel. His family had a long and generous history with AFMDA having donated a Mobile Intensive Care Unit ambulance in memory of his father, Dr. Murray Rockowitz in the 1990s, an ambulance shelter at the MDA Station in Kiryat Gat, and our new National Blood Center project.

Noah is survived by Julie, a long-time Jewish educator, and their three daughters, Shira, Leora and Dahlia. May his memory forever be a blessing.
