July 1, 2019 The American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (AOCD) was recognized in 1958 as a Specialty College of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Over the past six decades, the AOCD has grown tremendous-ly. The AOCD has become a strong and influential specialty college with well-established academic and clinical settings throughout the Unites States. The AOCD is dedicated to promoting the practice of osteopathic derma-tology on a national level. The AOCD membership has grown to over 750 board certified, practicing osteo-pathic dermatologists. The American Osteopathic College of Dermatology is pleased to offer this year, corporate sponsorship to our colleagues in the pharmaceutical field and related industries. Sponsorships are very important to our organiza-tion as they help us provide support to our membership. Corporate sponsorship may be acquired through a contribution to the AOCD. The levels of contribution to achieve individual categories of sponsorship are: Ru-by, $40,000; Diamond, $30,000; Platinum, $25,000; Gold, $20,000; Silver, $15,000; Bronze, $10,000; and Pearl Level, $5,000. These funds are used to support our growing membership, and other necessary projects. We’ve heard your comments! Our exhibitor hall has been re-branded. Please plan to exhibit at the NEW AOCD EXPO CENTRAL. We’ve increased the size of the room, improved the flow for traffic to your booth, re-introduction of the “Bingo Card” for the attendees, and added more seating areas with a lounge at-mosphere. Additional surprises are in development to get our attendees into the EXPO to see YOU our valued supporter. If you are interested in establishing a relationship with the AOCD, please contact John Wise at [email protected] or call him at 660.665.2184. The AOCD looks forward to hearing from you. Thank you again for your support of the AOCD as we con-tinue to grow and improve our offerings to our members. Respectfully,
John Minni, D.O. Marsha A. Wise, BS

AOCD Guidelines for Commercial Supporters of CME Activities
As an ACCME accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME), it is critical that the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support - in conjunction with the AOCD requirements - are strictly enforced and adhered to by all. It is required that all aspects of content planning, development and presentation for a CME activity are independent of any commercial influence. AOCD understands that this course includes hands-on training using products or equipment from your company, and it is very important that you are here and that the equipment is used properly. Because the CME rules are often complex, AOCD is inter-ested in proactively communicating our expectations about what is and is not allowed. Please read the below statements carefully. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any AOCD staff person to discuss further. I WILL NOT make any suggestions or recommendations related to content or faculty of this or future courses. I WILL NOT bring promotional materials of any kind to the educational sessions nor will I distribute any promotional or prod-uct-message materials to physicians at any point during the educational activity. I may, however, distribute promotional or prod-uct-message materials to physicians in an area(s) designated by AOCD that is outside of the room(s) used for the CME education-al activities and outside of the obligate path to the CME educational activities. I WILL NOT discuss, sell or promote my product as a representative at this course. I may, however, discuss, sell or promote my product in an area(s) designated by AOCD that is outside of the room(s) used for the CME educational activities and outside of the obligate path to the CME educational activities. I UNDERSTAND that it is the role of the faculty selected by AOCD to teach the participants. I will only assist the faculty as re-quested. I WILL NOT exchange business cards or other contact information during any educational sessions. However, I may exchange business cards or other contact information at other times. I WILL NOT provide any honoraria, gifts or funds of any kind to faculty or participants during the AOCD CME activity. I understand that violation of any of these guidelines will result in me being removed from the CME activity immediately and having the behavior reported to AOCD’s primary contact within your company, as well as the AOCD CME Committee and AOCD Board of Trustees.
In signing below, I attest that I have read all the information above and agree to abide by the guidelines set forth in this docu-ment. American Osteopathic College of Dermatology
Corporate Sponsorship Survey
The American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association, and
the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. We are a growing organization dedicated to
promoting the practice of dermatology on a national level. We are committed to providing up-to-date information
and instruction for our members and other physicians who include dermatology in their practice.
The AOCD sponsors two national continuing medical education programs each year; once in the spring, and again
in the fall. In addition, the AOCD provides extensive educational support for osteopathic dermatology residents
and the ongoing needs of its membership.
We would like to have a few minutes of your valuable time to assess your needs and ideas for future developments
of the college. We would also appreciate your evaluation of the college’s present successes and shortcomings.
Please let us know how we can better serve your company.
