Signing in will bring you to your IN TRAY…This willbe your main navigation screen. From here you canuse the button (top-right) to create a New Quote orSearch tab to look for an existing quote or policy.The InTray will also display recent accounts that youhave submitted or have been approved by ourunderwriters.

Let’s explore the system by clicking on New Quote to create a new quote!

Once your selections have been made, click the START button to continue.

Select the effective date of coverage for your risk. Keep in mind that backdating coverage is not permitted…only your underwriter has the authority to approve an effective date prior to today’s date.

Your agency name will pre-fill this screen (based on your USERNAME). Next, select your name from the PRODUCER dropdown box.

If your COVERAGE TYPE is VACANT DWELLING or one of the RENOVATION classes, you will have the option to select GENERAL LIABILITY coverage—if YES, choose your LIMIT & # OF UNITS. (NOTE: GL coverage is not available on BUILDERS RISKS)

If state-appropriate, you will have the option to select MINE SUBSIDENCE coverage. You can also choose to add TERRORISM coverage to your EXPRESS QUOTE.

The first screen you encounter is the EXPRESS QUOTE screen. It is designed to provide you with a premium indication—with minimal data entry!

NOTE: All fields notated with an asterisk are mandatory-entry!

Once you enter the LOCATION ZIP CODE, the system will fill in the city/county/state combination associated with that zip code.

Then select your TERM & COVERAGE TYPE.

We’ve begun to complete the required entry for our EXPRESS QUOTE.

Now click ADD BUILDING to enter additional data.

Select CONSTRUCTION TYPE & DEDUCTIBLE and enter your BUILDING LIMIT & PERSONAL PROPERTY LIMIT (if applicable). If you have an additional building (detached garage, shed, etc.), click ADD BUILDING to include this in your EXPRESS QUOTE.

Click CALCULATE PREMIUM button to complete your EXPRESS QUOTE. The system will automatically calculate any applicable state surcharges or policy fees.

Click CREATE PREMIUM ESTIMATE button to create a printable quote. A copy of the quote is also stored on the Policy Details page which is accessible through the View Policy Details link. fees.

These pages are the screens you will be required to complete the application. Pages are grayed out until they are completed…so you can chart your progress during the application entry process!

At the bottom of each screen, you will see reminders of the various types of information required to complete the screen. As you enter your information in the appropriate fields, these messages will disappear.

At any point during the application process, you can click SAVE AND CLOSE and return to your quote at a later time.

BEGINNING THE APPLICATION PROCESS!

The first thing you notice is that the information you entered in your EXPRESS QUOTE has been carried forward to this ACCOUNTscreen…This will feature prominently throughout this application.

You can amend any of the previously-entered data at any time!

For this screen, simply complete the ENTITY TYPE & MAILING ZIP CODE (system will return city/county/state combo as before.

Enter the MAILING ADDRESS, then click the VALIDATE ADDRESS button. The system will return the address in standard USPS format. If there are multiple iterations of the mailing address, or if you’ve only entered part of the address, the system will provide you with a dropdown box to select an appropriate mailing address (see next slide).

Use the dropdown box to view suggested addresses; highlight the appropriate address and click USE SELECTED ADDRESS.

If the address is not contained in our database, you will have the option to override the info returned by clicking the OVERRIDE button.

Once the address is entered and validated, the red messages disappear, and the NEXT button appears to continue.

On this ELIGIBILITY screen, we ask a number of risk-specific questions. These are designed with 2 purposes: (1) to determine if the risk is eligible for coverage under the VACANT EXPRESS program, and (2) if eligible, what rates & forms should attach?

Note: you are required to answer all of these questions in order to continue this application.

Some of the eligibility questions will stop the quote process immediately.

Here the dwelling is not totally vacant, and therefore not eligible.

Some of the eligibility questions will determine if a specific coverage can be provided.

Here, GL coverage is not permitted due to the existence of a pond, lake, pool or hot tub.

Here the dwelling will be undergoing renovations, so we’ll need to know (1) who will be performing the work, and (2) the amount being spent on improvements.

After all of the eligibility questions have been completed, the NEXT button will appear in order to continue.

There are no required fields on this LOSS HISTORY screen. We encourage you to utilize this screen to record prior carrier, limit & premium data, as well as any prior losses incurred by the Insured at this location.

To enter prior loss details, simply add the NUMBER OF LOSSES TO ADD and click ADD LOSSES. Then fill in the appropriate information in the fields provided.

On the POLICY COVERAGE screen we show the coverages that apply on a policy level. Again, information entered during the EXPRESS QUOTE has been carried forward to this screen.

Any of this data can be amended at this point.Click the NEXT button to continue with your application.

On the LOCATION screen, you will enter the address of the insured location. Note that the zip code and city/county/state combo have been brought forward from the EXPRESS QUOTE.

You can simply enter the LOCATION ADDRESS and click VALIDATE ADDRESS. The system will return the address in USPS format. If multiple addresses are found, a dropdown box will appear for you to select the appropriate address. If not contained in our database, you will have the option to OVERRIDE the returned address.

NOTE: The location address cannot be a PO BOX, nor can it be the same as the mailing address entered on the ACCOUNT screen.

This is the BUILDING SCHEDULE screen. Any building data entered on the EXPRESS QUOTE will be stored on this screen.

If you select QUARTERLY INSTALLMENTS on a 6- or 12-month policy, the system will calculate the amount due for your 1st installment—this will include 100% of Mine Subsidence, Taxes/Fees/Surcharges, and Policy Fees.

You can bill to the insured’s mailing address, mortgagee or loss payee, or another entered address. Use the dropdown box to select.

Now that you have completed all of the information through the Premium Summary page, you can go back to a previous page and change information and then return to the Premium Summary page or go to directly to the Application Questions page to enter the additional data needed before the application can be submitted.

To return to a previous page simply click on the Page name on the upper left side, change the necessary information and then click on the Premium Summary or Application Questions page link. If you change information on a page that requires additional information on a subsequent page, the check mark next to the page requiring information will turn to a red X.

We do not mail copies of the policy to you unless you check the box requesting we do so. The system creates an electronic version of the policy which is accessible to you through the View Policy Details link. We do not mail policies to the insured at any time. It is your responsibility to mail (or e-mail) the policy to the insured. It is also your responsibility to mail the policy to any additional interests.

We will direct bill the billing party selected on the Premium Summary page. The billing party has the option of paying by check , credit/debit card or through a PayPal account.

II you want to see all of quotes/applications/policies that belong to your agency, go to the Search tab , leave the last field blank and click the Search button.

II you want to find a particular quote/application/policy and you don’t know the exact name or policy number, you can use theappropriate search criteria, e.g. insured name, and select the contains filter and then type in the information you have in the last field. In this search we looked for an insured name that contained tutorial in the name

If you do know the exact name or policy number you can use the Quick Search in the upper right hand corner of the page to search. Quick Search is available from every page in the system.

The Policy Dashboard tab shows you the last 5 quotes or policies you accessed on the upper left side of the dashboard. If you click on the policy number it will bring you to the screen shown on the next page. If you click on the link that says Quote it will take you back to your quote/application. The last 5 notifications you received are shown in the upper right side of the dashboard.
