ASIPP® 2018 ANNUAL MEETING: EXCELLENCE IN IPM: EDUC ATION, RESEARCH, ADVOC AC YIN COLLABORATION WITH FLORIDA SOCIETY OF INTERVENTIONAL PAIN PHYSICIANS

Join Us For Our 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting! It is our distinct pleasure and honor to invite you to one of the fastest growing events in the Interventional Pain Management field, the

American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians’ (ASIPP®) 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting, EXCELLENCE IN IPM: EDUCATION,

RESEARCH, ADVOCACY. This 20th Anniversary meeting is being brought to you in collaboration with the Florida Society of Interventional

Pain Physicians and is in Orlando, Florida on Thursday, March 15 through Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Marriott Orlando World Center.

In an effort to meet the needs of interventional pain physicians and other providers as well, we have created an educational program of the

highest caliber, tailored to the needs of physicians, mid-level providers, and staff.

In keeping with recent years, the 2018 meeting will be one of our most exciting, educational, and enlightening of any annual meeting we

have held. This year’s educational events will include practice management, controlled substance management, regenerative medicine,

interventional techniques, abstract presentations, a Resident/Fellow section for emergence into practice, and much more.

We offer an extensive practice management session with multiple and intensive coding and compliance lectures. This session is ideal for

physicians, but also invaluable for staff. Consider it a valuable investment for your practice. They will walk away armed with the information

they need to better tackle the billing and coding issues they face.

The faculty includes experts in the field of Interventional Pain Management, drug therapy, practice management, and current affairs that

impact you. Whether you are a member of ASIPP®, or have yet to become a member, we are confident that this event will provide the

information needed to help you in the evolving specialty of interventional pain management.

Arnold Caplan, PhD and Laxmaiah Manchikanti, MD, Chairman and CEO , ASIPP® will present the Raj-Racz Distinguished Lectures.

Dr Caplan, Professor Department of Neurosciences Case Western Reserve University, is considered “The father of the mesenchymal stem cell

(MSC).” He is a renowned speaker on Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine.

We are also honored to have the following keynote speakers: Senator Bill Cassidy, Dike Drummond, MD, and Rebekah Bernard, MD.

Senator Cassidy is a United States Senator and Physician from Louisiana. He serves on the Health Education Labor & Pensions (HELP). Dike

Drummond, MD is the CEO of The Happy MD.com. He is a Mayo trained family doctor, professional coach, author, speaker and trainer whose

sole professional focus since 2011 has been addressing the modern burnout epidemic in physicians. Rebekah Bernard, MD is a Family

Physician and Author of “How to be a Rockstar Doctor” which shows doctors how to get on-stage to achieve clinical and professional success

while avoiding burnout.

We will have Robert Laszewski, Representative Ed Whitfield, and Senator Tim Hutchinson to provide the Manchikanti

Distinguished Lectures Series. Mr. Laszewski is president of Health Policy and Strategy Associates, Inc. (HPSA),a policy and

marketplace consulting firm specializing in assisting its clients through significant health policy and market changes. Edward “Ed”

Whitfield is an American politician who served as the U.S. Representative of Kentucky’s 1st congressional district from January 1995

until his resignation in September 2016. While in the U.S. House of Representatives, Whitfield served on the Committee on Energy and

Commerce and was Chairman of the Subcommittee on Energy and Power. Tim Hutchinson is an American politician and lobbyist

who is a former United States Senator from the state of Arkansas. Hutchinson joined the Washington, DC based law firm of Dickstein

Shapiro in 2003 as a senior advisor. As of March 2016, he serves as a senior director at the Washington, DC office of Greenberg Traurig. He

currently serves as Government Affairs Counsel to ASIPP®.
