Face Lifting and Threading Procedures Traditional and minimal-incision face lifts are performed by our board-certified plastic surgeon. Simpler nonsurgical lifts can be performed with absorbable sutures that offer minimal or no down time. These dis-solvable sutures add lift and youthful volume to the face. Another option, a nasolabial fold lift, is performed by excising excess skin from around the laugh lines—often a good option for patients with thin, loose skin on their lower face.

Dark Under-Eye Circles Darkening under the eyes is caused by hollow tear troughs, eye bags, veins, wrinkles, and increased skin pigment around the lower eyelids. At Gateway Aesthetic, we offer customized treatments to improve or eliminate these shadows and dark circles.

Female and Male Rejuvenation*Vaginal Tightening with Laser or Radiofrequency Vaginal tightening is a popular treatment that uses laser and/or radiofrequency energy (Fotona G-Run-ner™ and THERMIva®) to heat, shrink and tighten the vaginal mucosa. The treatment is not only helpful to women with stress incontinence (urinating when exercising, coughing or sneezing), but it also increases pelvic support and sensitivity during sexual intercourse. It is a simple, quick, and comfortable procedure performed with little to no downtime.

Emsella™ Emsella™ is a non-invasive, FDA-cleared, therapeutic HIFEM (high-frequency electromagnetic muscle stimmulation) treatment chair used to tighten the pelvic floor muscles of both females and males to treat stress urinary incontinence and also to enhance the health and function of the female and male genito-urinary organs. A series of treatments is performed fully clothed with no down time.

PRP Sexual Stimulation Shots for Women PRP (platelet rich plasma) from a patient’s blood is injected into the “G-spot” and other areas around the clitoris to increase sensitivity during sexual intercourse. This treatment may be combined on the same day with a vaginal tightening procedure.

DermatologyDermatology Services Gateway Aesthetic employs multiple board-certified dermatologists who understand skin diseases, skin cancer, and surgery. We can diagnose and treat any of your skin conditions or, if necessary, refer you for specialized care.

Skin Surgery and Mole RemovalBoth dermatologic and plastic surgeons are on staff at the Gateway Aesthetic Institute. We perform skin surgeries to remove skin cancers, tumors, scars, lipomas, and moles. Surgically removed moles are sent for pathologic examination to be certain there are no abnormal cells. For other suspicious lesions and skin diseases, we take a biopsy of the skin to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Treatment on Dark Skin Many of our patients with naturally dark skin need help with treatment for acne, skin diseases, abnor-mal pigmented spots, or benign skin lesions. Laser Treatment of Birthmarks Birthmarks come in many colors and may be either flat or raised. We have over 30 years of experience removing birthmarks with lasers, surgery, and other technologies. We also invented a technique using a short-pulse, high energy Nd:YAG laser that is extremely successful in treating deeper red and purple birthmarks.

Treatment of Scars and Keloids Gateway Aesthetic is a worldwide referral center for the treatment of scars and keloids. We can greatly improve the appearance of scars and keloids with a combination of therapies including laser, IPL (intense pulsed light) devices, injections, and topical treatments.

Laser and Medical Treatment of Hem-angiomas Hemangiomas are collections of unwanted blood vessels in the skin that often cause a red or purple bulge. The most common type is an infantile hemangioma or strawberry mark that appears shortly after birth and may enlarge over time. These lesions are best treated sooner rather than later to lessen tissue destruction and a prolonged unsightly appearance of the skin.

Low Level LED Light Treatments LED light treatments are used for skin heal-ing, and for treatment of precancerous le-sions, acne, and rosacea. They also stimulate fat shrinkage and the production of new collagen and blood vessels in the skin. Our skincare store Apothica sells handheld LED lights ideal for home use (Omnilux New-U to improve circulation and collagen growth and the Omnilux Clear-U to improve inflamma-tory acne and treat skin infections).

Photodynamic Therapy LED lights can be combined with photosen-sitizing topical products for skin rejuvenation to treat acne, sun damage, and other skin diseases and cosmetic conditions.

Combined Treatments Many of our cosmetic procedures can be combined and performed on the same day. For example, patients will often combine eyelid surgery with laser resurfacing or skin tightening.
