Every financial assistance is very important for us, because any help from the European Union leads to a better quality of life in our area. As a result of Union support, our community began to grow very quickly. We have gained the interest of new investors. We are pleased with the financial assistance we have received.

Some new equipment was purchased which has helped to extend the offer of „Grela” bakery.

The construction of a swimming pool at the School Complex in Melgiew. Since the object appeared swimming lessons for pupils within the project "Modern School” were performed. Nowadays it is used during physical education classes.

Thanks to the funds received from the Union students took part in trips: to Warsaw, to Cracow and its surroundings and to the Polish coast.

New computers were purchased to School Complex in Melgiew. Now we learn on them how to use Internet and MS Office.

A bandshell was built on the pond in Melgiew. The opening ceremony took place on 11 November 2011. It is used for cultural events: concerts, dance performances, stage performances, anniversaries or state and local ceremonies.

This church was built in 1906-1910. It was in bad condition, but thanks to the funds received from the Union, the renovation of the church is being carried.

Two LED boards were installed on the building of the municipality. It is a help for developing businesses in Melgiew, since they broadcast free advertisements.

In order to improve safety at crossroads with railway tracks, these crossings were modernized.

Currently, in Swidnik, an airport is being built. We believe that the airport in our area will increase the interest of new investors in our landside. This will also give us a lot of new opportunities.
