o Underline or highlight the 5Ws and H. Evaluate the lead

o What type of lead does the story utilize• Question, Quote, Summary, Fact, Opinion

o Is the lead effective• Why/Why not• If yes, why is it effective• If not, why is it not

6 Columns Make a chart with 6 columns. Label the columns as follows:

o History; People; Numbers (money/statistics); Comparisons; The Future; Trends
