Novell will release a new mobile sync product based off the Activesync technology. It is slated to be released later this year. (currently slated for early to late fall)

This means any ActiveSync enabled device will be able to talk natively to GroupWise.

Your device is connected through various wireless networks: RIM devices obtain their wireless connection through your cellular provider's network. This connection then passes through NC State's network directly into the BlackBerry Enterprise Server (called the BES). Our BES has a direct constant connection to our GroupWise servers where your device then accesses your personal mailbox, calendar, tasks and memo's.
