Potential Energy: stored energy due to position (ex: a book hanging from a string).

- Elastic potential energy (ex: stretching a rubber band)

- Chemical potential energy: energy stored in chemical bonds.

-Gravitational potential energy: energy stored in objects due to position above Earth’s surface.

• Wave: a repeating disturbance or movement that transfers energy through matter/space.

• Medium: the thing that a wave transfers energy through. It can be a solid, liquid, gas, plasma, or space (or a combo of these).
