âÈå×ãcán CáÖ ânåÒâ·á² CáÖ , âÈå×ã«á® CáÖ âäØãÃá® CáÖ

O High, O Mighty, O Forgiver, O Merciful.

çAåØáw ãÐãÃå\ãÇá¾ áuå×á åÕãmáäÂB

âÈå×ã«á¯åÂB âäPáäoÂB áYåÊáB

You are the Mighty Lord, who has none like Him.

âoå×ã|áRåÂB â°å×ãÇáätÂB

áÒâÎ áÑ

And He is the All Hearing, the All Seeing.

ÔÃá® âÐáXåÃáä£á¶ áÑ âÐáXå¶áäoáw áÑ âÐáXåÆáäoá¾ áÑ

âÐáXåÇáä«á® çoåÏáw BámÎ áÑ

ãnåÒâÏâäxÂB

This is a month which You have made exalted, honored,

ennobled and excelled over the other months.

áäØáÃá® âÐáÆCá×ã{ áYå¢áoᶠåÕãmáäÂB âoåÏáw áÒâÎ áÑ

It is the month in which You have made

fasting obligatory on me,

áÉDåoâ»åÂB ãÐå×㶠áYåÂáqåÊáB åÕãmáäÂB

áÉCá£áÆán âoåÏáw áÒâÎ áÑ

and it is the month of Ramadán,in which You sent down the

Qur’án,

ãÉCáºåoâ·åÂB áÑ ÓkâÏåÂB áÌãäÆ èVCáËãä×áQ áÑ

ãrCáäËÃãä ÓækâÎ

a guidance for mankind, having clear signs of

guidance and distinction. (2:185)

ãnåká»åÂB áUáÃå×áÂ

ãÐå×㶠áYåÃá¯á_ áÑ

You have placed in it the

night of power,

èoåÏáw ã¸åÂáB åÌãäÆ Bæoå×ág CáÏáXåÃá¯á_áÑ

and made it better than a thousand months. (97:2)

áÀå×áÃá® âäÌáÇâÖ áÙ áÑ

ãäÌáÇåÂBál Cá×á¶

O One who favours, and none favours You,

ãnCáäËÂB áÌãÆ åØãXáRáºán

ã½Cá¿á·ãQ áäØáÃá® áäÌâÆ

ãÐå×áÃá® âäÌâÇáW åÌáÇå×ã¶

favour me by saving me from the fire,

amongst the ones You favour,

áÌå×ãÇãcBáäoÂB áÈácånB CáÖ

áÀãXáÇåcáoãQ áUáäËá`åÂB

ØãËåÃãgåjáB áÑ

and make me enter Heaven,

by Your mercy, O the most Merciful.

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh send Your blessings on Muhammad

and the family of Muhammad.

ãÈå×ãcáäoÂB ãÌÇåcáäoÂB

ãÐäÃÂB ãÈåtãQIn the name of Alláh the

Beneficent, the Merciful.

áYåÂáqåÊáB ÕãmáäÂB

áÉCá£áÆán ãoåÏáw áäPán áäÈâÏäÃÂáB áÉDåoâ»åÂB

ãÐå×ã¶

O Alláh, Lord of Ramadhán (the month)

in which You sent down the Qur’án

áÅCá×ãä|ÂB ãÐå×ã¶

á½ãjCáRã® ÔÃá® áYå¢áoáXå¶B áÑ

and made fasting obligatory on Your

servants.

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB Ñ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{

Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,

ãÅBáoádåÂB áÀãXå×áQ áäaác ØãËåºâpånB áÑ and enable me to go for pilgrimage to Your sacred

House,

èÅCá® ãäÄâ¾ Ø㶠áÑ BámÎ ØãÆCá® Øã¶

in this year and in every year,

áÅCá«ã¯åÂB áPåÒâÊâämÂB áÀåÃãW Øã åoã·å²B áÑ

and forgive me those great sins

(that I carry),

âÅáäÚá® CáÖ âÌÇåcán CáÖ á½âoå×á²

CáÎâoã·å³áÖ áÙfor surely, none can

forgive them except You,O Beneficent, O All

Knowing.

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ

ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

ãÈå×ãcáäoÂB ãÌÇåcáäoÂB

ãÐäÃÂB ãÈåtãQIn the name of Alláh the

Beneficent, the Merciful.

á½ãkåÇádãQ áAEáËáä\ÂB âeãXáXå¶áB

ØãäÊãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, I begin glorifying You with

Your Praise.

áÀãäËáÇãQ ãPBáÒáä|ÃãÂ

çjãäkátâÆ áYåÊáB áÑ

You direct towards what is right through Your

Grace.

Ø㶠áÌå×ãÇãcBáäoÂB âÈácånáB áYåÊáB

áÀáäÊáB âYåËá»åÖáB áÑ

ãUáÇåcáäoÂB áÑ ãÒå·á¯åÂB ã°ã

¢åÒáÆ I am convinced that You are

the most Merciful in matters of forgiveness and

mercy,

°ã¢åÒáÆ Ø㶠áÌå×ãRãºCá¯âÇåÂB âäkáwáB

áÑ ãUáÇã»áäËÂB

áÑ ãÁCá¿áäËÂBbut most severe in

matters of warning and retribution,

°ã¢åÒáÆ Ø㶠áÌåÖãoãäRá`áX

âÇåÂB âÈá«å®áB áÑ ãUáÇá«á¯åÂB

áÑ ãAEáÖãoåRã¿å

ÂBand the most mighty in

matters of power and magnificence.

áÀãXáÃáNåtáÆ áÑ áÀãMEá®âj Ø㶠Øã áYåÊãláB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh You have allowed me to supplicate

to You and ask from You.

åSã_áB áÑ ØãXácåkãÆ

â°å×ãÇás CáÖ å°áÇåsCá¶

ØãWáÒå®áj âÈå×ãcán CáÖ

Then hear my praise, O One who hears all, and answer

my call, O Merciful,

ØãWáoå\á® ânåÒâ·á² CáÖ

åÄãºáB áÑand decrease my mistakes, O most

Forgiving.

CáÏáXå_áäoᶠåkẠèUáQåoâ¾ åÌãÆ

ØãÏÂãB CáÖ åÈá¿á¶

CáÏáXå·áxá¾ åkẠèÅåÒâÇâÎ áÑ

How often, O my God, You have relieved me of

troubles, how much grief You have dispelled,

CáÏáWåoáxáÊ åkẠèUáÇåcán áÑ

CáÏáXåÃáºáB åkẠèTáoå\á® áÑ

how many mistakes You have prevented,

how many blessings You have spread,

CáÏáXå¿á¿á¶ åkẠèAÞáQ ãUá»åÃác

áÑ

and how many series of afflictions You have

separated.

UáRãcCá{ åmãháäXáÖ åÈá ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ

âkåÇádåÂáB BækáÂáÑ áÙ áäÑAll Praise is for Alláh who has not taken a wife nor

a son,

ãÀåÃâÇåÂB Ø㶠çÀåÖãoáw

âÐáä åÌâ¿áÖ åÈá áÑ

who has no partner in His Kingdom,

ÁâämÂB áÌãäÆ çäØãÂáÑ âÐáäÂ

åÌâ¿áäÖ åÈá áÑ

Bæoå×ãRå¿áW âÍåoãäRá¾ áÑwho has no friend to

protect Him from humiliation, so magnify

Him with a great Magnificence.

CáÏãäÃâ¾ ãÍãkãÆCádáÆ ã°å×ãÇá`ãQ

ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB

All Praise is for Alláh for all His praiseworthy

acts,

CáÏãäÃâ¾ ãÐãÇá¯ãÊ ã°å×ãÇá_

ÔÃá®

for all His favours and blessings.

ãÐäÃã â kåÇádåÂáB

ãÐã¿åÃâÆ Ø㶠âÐá áäjEá£âÆ

áÙ ÕãmáäÂB

All Praise is for Alláh who has no opposition in His

Kingdom,

ãÍãoåÆáB Ø㶠âÐá á

ãpCáËâÆ áÙ áÑ

nor any challenge to His command.

áÀåÖãoáw áÙ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ

âkåÇádåÂáB ãÐã»åÃág Øã¶

âÐáÂAll Praise is for Alláh who has no partner in creation,

ãÐãXáÇá«á® Ø㶠âÐáÂ

áÐå×ãRáw áÙ áÑ

nor anyone like Him in His Greatness.

Ø㶠ØãwCá·åÂB ãÐäÃãÂ

âkåÇádåÂáB âÍâoåÆáB

ã¼åÃáhåÂB

All Praise is for Alláh, His commands operate

over His creation,

âÍâkå`áÆ ãÅáoá¿åÂCãQ âoãÎCáä«ÂB âÍâkåÇác áÑ

and his Praise is evident through His

Generosity,

âÍákáÖ ãjåÒâ`åÂCãQ ã¨ãsCáRåÂB whose bestowal

stretches out liberally.

âÐâËãMDáqág â}â»åËáW áÙ

ÕãmáäÂBHis treasures never

decrease,

ÙãB ãACá§á¯åÂB

âTáoå\á¾ âÍâkåÖãqáW áÙ

áÑCæÆáoá¾ áäÑ

BæjåÒâ_(rather) the frequency of His Giving increases His

Generosity and Kindness.

âPCáäÎáÒåÂB âqåÖãqá¯åÂB áÒâÎ âÐáäÊãB

Surely He is the Mighty, the Bestower.

èoå×ã\á¾ åÌãäÆ

æÚå×ãÃẠáÀâÃáNåsáB

ØãäÊãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh I ask You a

little from much,

èUáÇå×ã«á® ãÐå×áÂãB

ØãQ èUá_Các á°áÆ

although I am in great need of it,

çÈåÖãkẠâÐåËá®

á½CáËã² áÑwhile You are eternally

needless of it,

Àå×áÃá® áÒâÎ áÑ çoå×ã\á¾

ÕãkåËã® áÒâÎ áÑ

çoå×ãtáäÖ çÄåÏás

though it is a lot for me,while it is easy and

simple for You.

Ñ ØãRåÊál åÌá® á½áÒå·á®

áäÉãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

ØãXáNå×ã§ág åÌá®

á½ápâÑCá`áWO Alláh, indeed Your forgiveness of my sins

and Your overlooking my

faults,

á½áoåXãs áÑ ØãÇåÃ⪠åÌá® áÀádå·á{ áÑØãÃáÇá® ãeå×ãRáº

ÔÃá®Your pardoning my

oppression,Your hiding my ugly

deeds,

ØãÆåoâ_ ãoå×ã\á¾

åÌá® áÀáÇåÃãc

áÑ

and Your forbearing my many wrongs,

CáÆ kåËã®ÕãkåÇá® áÑ ÕãCá§ág åÌãÆ

áÉCá¾done intentionally or

unintentionally,

ØãËá¯áÇå¦áBáÀåËãÆ

âÐâRã_åÒáXåsáB áÙ CáÆ

áÀâÃáNåsáB åÉáB Øã¶

tempted me to ask from You what I did not deserve

from You,

áÀãXáÇåcáän åÌãÆ

ØãËáXåºápán ÕãmáäÂB

which You (still) gave me out of Your

Mercy,

ØãËáXå¶áäoá® áÑ

áÀãWánåk⺠åÌãÆ

ØãËáXåÖánáB áÑ

áÀãXáQCá_ãB åÌãÆ

provided me by Your Power,

and made known to me from Your answers.

CætãÊåGáXåtâÆ áÀâÃáNåsáB áÑ

CæËãÆD á½åÒâ®åjáB

âVåoã|á¶

So I became habituated to call You

trustingly and ask You familiarly,

æÚã_áÑ áÙ áäÑ Cæ·ãMEg Ý

neither fearing nor scared,

áÀå×áÂãB ãÐå×㶠âVåká|

ẠCáÇå×㶠áÀå×áÃá® æäÙãkâÆ

but with confidence in You for what I intended.

áÀå×áÃá® ØãÃåÏá`ãQ âYåRáXá® ØãäËá® Gá§åQáB åÉãCá¶

Then if there was a delay (in Your answer), I

would blame You, due to my ignorance,

Øãä çoå×ág áÒâÎ ØãäËá®

Gá§åQáB ÕãmáäÂB

áäÄá¯á áÑãnåÒâÆâÛB ãUáRãºCá¯ãQ áÀãÇåÃã¯ãÂ

and perhaps the delay was best

for me, for You know the outcome

of all affairs.

ÔÃá® áoáRå{áB CæÇåÖãoá¾

ÔæÂåÒáÆ ánáB åÈáÃá¶

áäØáÃá® áÀåËãäÆ

èÈå×ãNáä èkåRá®

I have not seen a more generous master patient with a wretched slave, than You are with me.

áÀåËá® ØãäÂáÑâCᶠØãÊåÒâ®åkáW áÀáäÊãB ØãäQán CáÖ

My Lord, You call me and I turn away from

You,

áÀå×áÂãB â¤áä³áRáWáB áÑ áäØáÂãB

âSáäRádáXáW áÑ

You show affection to me and I show hatred

towards You,

áäÉáCá¾ áÀåËãÆ

âÄáRåºáB áÚᶠáäØáÂãB

âjáäjáÒáXáW áÑ

áÀå×áÃá® áÁâäÒá§áäXÂB

áØãÂYou display Your love for

me and I do not respond, as though I

am above You.

Øã ãUáÇåcáäoÂB áÌãÆ áÀãÂBál áÀå¯áËåÇáÖ

åÈáÃá¶áäØáÂãB

ãÉCátåcãÛåB áÑ

But this does not prevent You from

having mercy on me, being good to me,

áÀãÆáoá¾ áÑ á½ãjåÒâ`ãQ

áäØáÃá® ãÄâä£á·áäXÂB

áÑand favouring me,

through Your Generosity and Nobility.

ãÐå×áÃá® åkâ_ áÑ áÄãÎCá`åÂB á½ákåRá® åÈácånCá¶

áÀãÊCátåcãB ãÄå£á·ãQ

So please (continue to) have mercy on your

ignorant slave, and be kind to him through the

excellence of Your Grace.

çÈåÖãoá¾ çjBáÒá_ áÀáäÊãB

Surely You are the Bountiful, the

Generous.

âkåÇádåÂáBãÀåÃâ·åÂB

Õãoå`âÆ ãÀåÃâÇåÂB ãÀãÂCáÆ ãÐäÃãÂ

All Praise is for Alláh, the Owner of the

Kingdom, who makes the ships sail,

ãbCáRå{ãÛåB ã¼ãÂCá¶

ãbCáÖãäoÂB ãoãähátâÆ

controls the wind,causes the dawn to

break,

áÌå×ãÇáÂCá¯åÂB ãäPán ãÌåÖãäkÂB

ãÉCáäÖáj

is the authority on the Day of Judgement,

(and) is the Lord of the worlds.

ãÐãÇåÃã® ákå¯áQ ãÐãÇåÃãc ÔÃá®

ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB

All Praise is for Alláhfor His patience despite

His knowledge.

ãÐãWánåk⺠ákå¯áQ ãÍãÒå·á®

ÔÃá® ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂB áÑ

All Praise is for Alláhfor His forgiveness despite

His power.

ãÐãRá£á² Ø㶠ãÐãWCáÊáB ãÁåÒâ¦

ÔÃá® ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂB Ñ á

All Praise is for Alláhfor the lengthy respite He

gives despite His anger,

âkåÖãoâÖ CáÆ ÔÃá® çnãjCáº

áÒâÎ áÑthough He has the power to do as He

wills.

ã¼åÃáhåÂB ã¼ãÂCág ãÐäÃãÂ

âkåÇádåÂáBAll Praise is for Alláh

the creator of all creation,

ãbCáRå{ãÛB ã¼ãÂCá¶

ã¹åpãäoÂB ã¨ãsCáQ

the provider of plentiful sustenance,

the cleaver of the dawn,

ãÅCá¯åÊãÛåB áÑ ãÄå£á·åÂB áÑ

ãÅBáoå¾ãÛåB áÑ ãÁáÚá`åÂB Óãl

possessor of Glory and Honor,

and Excellence and Blessings,

ÓÒå`áäËÂB ákãÏáxᶠáPâoẠáÑ ÓoâÖ áÚá¶

ákâ¯áQ ÕãmáäÂB

who is far and thus cannot be seen, but is

close and thus witnesses secret conversations.

ÔÂCá¯áW áÑ á½ánCáRáW

Blessed and Exalted be

His name.

âkåÇádåÂáBâÐâÂãjCá¯âäÖ ç ãpCáËâÆ âÐáÂ

áuå×á ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ

All Praise is for Alláhwho has no equal who

argues with Him,

áÙ áÑâÍâkã¢Cá¯âäÖ çoå×ãÏ᪠áÙ áÑ âÐâÃã¾CáxâäÖ

çÐå×ãRáwnor anyone similar to

Him,nor any Helper to

support Him.

áADáäqã®áÛåB

ãÐãWáäqã¯ãQ áoáÏáº

âAEáÇá«â¯åÂB

ãÐãXáÇá«á¯ã á°á

¢BáÒáW áÑHe overpowers the mighty by

His strength,and the great humble themselves before His

greatness.

âAEáxáÖ CáÆ ãÐãWánåkâ»ãQ

á´áÃáRá¶

He accomplishes what He wishes through His

power.

âkåÇádåÂáBãÐåÖãjCáÊâB

áÌå×ãc ØãËâRå×ã`âÖ

ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ

All Praise is for Alláhwho answers me when I

call Him,

ãÐå×ã|å®áB CáÊáB áäÑ èTánåÒá®

áäÄâ¾ áäØáÃá® âoâXåtáÖ áÑ

covers all my faults yet I disobey Him,

ãÐåÖãpCá_âB áÚᶠáäØáÃá® áUáÇå¯ãäËÂB âÈãä«á¯âÖ áÑ

increases His bounties on me

but I do not acknowledge them.

ØãÊCá§å®áB åkáº

èUáNå×ãËáÎ èUáRãÎåÒáÆ åÌãÆ åÈá¿á¶

How many pleasant gifts He has given me,

èUá`åÏáQ áÑ ØãÊCá·á¾ åkẠèUá¶åÒâháäÆ

èUáÇå×ã«á® áÑØãÊBánáB åkẠèUá»ãÊåÒâäÆ

how many great fears He has removed, and

how many delightful joys He has shown me.

ØãËå[âCá¶CædãäRátâÆ

âÍâoâ¾åláB áäÑ BækãÆCác ãÐå×áÃá®

Thus I glorify Him, thanking Him

and I remember Him with praise.

âÐâQCá`ãc âÀáXåÏâÖ áÙ

ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ

âkåÇádåÂáBâÐâQCáQ

â¼áÃå³âÖ áÙ áÑAll praise is for Alláh,

whose curtains cannot be opened, whose doors

cannot be locked,

âÐâÃãÆD âSáä×áhâÖ áÙ áÑ âÐâÃãMCás âäjáoâÖ áÙ áÑ

who does not reject the one who asks Him,and who does not

disappoint the one who places hope in Him.

áÌå×ã·ãMEáhåÂB âÌãÆåKâÖ

ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ

âkåÇádåÂáBAll Praise is for Alláh,

who provides safety for the frightened,

Øãä`áËâÖ áÑáÌå×ã·á¯å£áXåt

âÇåÂB â°á¶åoáÖ áÑ áÌå×ãdãÂCáä|

ÂB

rescues the virtuous, raises the oppressed,

â°á£áÖ áÑCæ¾åÒâÃâÆ âÀãÃåÏâÖ áÑ áÌåÖãoãRå¿á

XåtâÇåÂBhumiliates the proud, destroys

kings,

áÌåÖãoágD â¸ãÃåháXåtá

Ö áÑand replaces them

with others.

áÌåÖãnCáäRá`åÂB ãÈã{Cáº

ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂB áÑ

All Praise is for Alláh, who crushes the

tyrants,

áÌå×ãQãnCáÏåÂB ã½ãnåkâÆ

áÌå×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB ãoå×ãRâÆ

annihilates the oppressors,

watches over the runaways,

áÌå×ãgãoå|áXåtâÇåÂB

ãiåÖãoá{ áÌå×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB ãÁCá¿áÊ

punishes the oppressors,assists those who cry for

help,

°ã¢åÒáÆáÌå×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂ

B ãkáÇáXå¯âÆ áÌå×ãRãÂCáä§ÂB

ãVCá_Các ãgrants the requests of the

beseechers,and is the confidence of

the believers.

âká®åoáW ãÐãXá×åxág

åÌãÆ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ

âkåÇádåÂáBCáÏâÊCáä¿âs áÑ

âAEáÇáätÂBAll praise is for Alláh in whose awe the skies and

its inhabitants shake,

CáÎânCáäÇâ® áÑ â¡ånáÛåB â¸â_åoáW áÑthe earth and its

inhabitants tremble,

âeáRåtáÖ åÌáÆ áÑ

ânCádãRåÂB â^åÒâÇáW

áÑCáÏãWBáoáÇá²

Øã¶the sea and all that

swims in it billow.

BámÏã CáÊBákáÎ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ

âkåÇádåÂáB

All praise is for Alláh who guided us to this

âÐäÃÂB CáÊBákáÎ åÉáB áÙ åÒá áÕãkáXåÏáËãÂ

CáäËâ¾ CáÆ áÑand we would not have

been guidedhad Alláh not guided

us to this.

å¼áÃåhâÖ åÈá áÑ â¼âÃåháÖ

ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ

âkåÇádåÂáBAll Praise is for Alláhwho creates but is

not created,

áÑâÈá¯å§âÖ áÙ áÑ

âÈã¯å§âÖ áÑ â¹ápåoâÖ áÙ áÑ

â¹âpåoáÖgives sustenance but

is not given sustenance, feeds

but is not fed

ÔWåÒáÇåÂB Øã×ådâÖ áÑ

áAEá×åcáÛåB âYå×ãÇâÖ áÑ

causes the living to die,and gives life to the dead.

âoå×áhåÂB ãÍãká×ãQ

âVåÒâÇáÖ áäÙ çäØác áÒâÎ áÑHe is Ever-Living and

does not die,(and) in His control is

all good,

çoåÖãkẠèAåØáw

ãäÄâ¾ ÔÃá® áÒâÎ áÑ

and He has power over all things.

ÀãÂåÒâsán áÑ á½ãkåRá®

èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh send Your Blessings on Muhammad,

Your servant, Your Messenger,

ÀãRå×ãRác áÑ áÀãä×ã·á{ áÑ áÀãËå×ãÆáB

áÑYour trustee, Your chosen One, Your

beloved,

áÀãWáoá×ãg áÑ

á½ãäoãs ã¬ã¶Các áÑ áÀã»åÃág

åÌãÆ áÀãWáÙCásãn ã´ãäÃáRâÆ áÑ

the best of Your creation,

the preserver of Your secrets, and the

preacher of Your messages,

ÄáÇå_áB áÑ áÌátåcáB áÑ áÄá£å¶áB

Ô¾åpáB áÑ áÄáÇå¾áB áÑ

the most superior, elegant, handsome, perfect,

upright,

ÔËåsáB áÑ áoáÏå¦áB áÑ áSá×å¦áB áÑ ÔÇåÊáB áÑ

prosperous, pleasant, holy and sublime,

áYåÇáäcáoáW áÑ áYå¾ánCáQ áÑ áYå×áäÃá{ CáÆ

guardian of Your orders, the

the one hoped for, the awaited justice.

Surround him with Your favourite angels

the holy spirit,O Lord of the worlds.

áÀãËåÖãkãQ áÈãMEá»åÂB áÑO Alláh, appoint him to invite towards Your book to establish Your religion.

áÌåÖãmáäÂBMake him the successor

on the earthas You caused others to

succeed before him.

Establish for him his religion which You have

approved for him.

½âkâRå¯áÖ CæËåÆáB ãÐã¶åÒág

CæNå×áw áÀãQ â½ãoåxâÖ áÙ

Give him security after fear (so) he worships You and does not associate

any with You.

âÍáäqã®áB áäÈâÏäÃÂáBãÐãQ åoã|áXåÊB áÑ âÍåoâ|åÊB

O Alláh, give him power and through him

strengthen (others), help him and help

(others) through him.

CædåXᶠâÐá åeáXå¶B áÑ BæqåÖãqá®

Bæoå|áÊ

Help him with a mighty help,

and give him an easy victory,

and grant him an assisting authority from

You.

O Alláh, make manifest through him Your

religion and the way of Your Prophet,

until nothing from the truth remains hidden from

any human being.

O Alláh, we earnestly desire from You

an honored state,

CáÏãQthrough which You

strengthen Islám and its people and degrade

hypocrisy and its followers.

And make us in it amongst the inviters towards Your

obedience,

and the leaders to Your path.

CáÏãQ CáËâºâpåoáW

Give us through it honor of the world and the Hereafter.

O Alláh, what You have made known to us of the

truth, help us bear it,

and what we fall short, make us reach it.

O Alláh, through him put order in our affairs,

gather and unite our flocks,

join together our separations,

increase our minority,

lift us from degradation,relieve our miseries,

pull us out of our debts,

remove our poverty,

and the most generous of bestowers,

and guide us to the truth on disputed

the concealment of our leader,

the abundance of our enemies,

the scarcity of our numbers,

the severity of our trials,

and the victory of the era

and help us overcome that by

granting us an immediate victory,

dispersing miseries, giving us a help that

make us drink a cup of water from the spring

of salsabíl,

pair us with houris, by Your mercy,

åÈâÏáäÊGá¾ áÌåÖãkáäÃáhâÇå

ÂB ãÉBákåÂãÒåÂB

áÌãÆ áÑCáËåÆãkågáCá¶

çÉåÒâËå¿áäÆ çKâÂåKâÂ

give us the service of the young heavenly helpers, well groomed like pearls,

ãUáäËá`åÂB ãnCáÇã[ åÌãÆ

áÑCáËåÇã¯å¦áCá¶

ãoå×áä§ÂB ãÅåÒâdâ áÑ

feed us with the fruits of Paradise, and the

flesh of birds,

ãoåÖãoádåÂB áÑ

ãrâkåËâätÂB ãPCá×ã[ åÌãÆ

áÑCáËåtãRåÂáCᶠã¹áoåRáXåsÛB

áÑand clothe us with

robes of thick brocade of silk

and gold.

ããÅBáoádåÂB áÀãXå×áQ áäaác

áÑ ãnåká»åÂB áUáÃå×á áÑ

Grant us the benefits, of the night of power, and the pilgrimage to

Your sacred house,

CáËá å¼ãä¶áÒᶠáÀãÃå×ãRás Ø㶠æÚåXáº

áÑand of dying in Your

way.

áeãÂCá{ áÑCáËáÂ

åSã`áXåsCᶠãUáÃáNåtáÇåÂ

Answer our prayers, and requests, which

are good.

áÅåÒáÖand when You gather the

people, of the earlier and later periods, on

the Day of Judgement, have mercy on us,

write for us a protection

from the fire,

CáËáäÃâ³áW áÚá¶

áÈáäËáÏá_ Ø㶠áÑ

and do not confine us to Hell,

áÀãÊBáÒáÎ áÑ áÀãQBámá®

Ø㶠áÑ

and try us not with Your punishment and

disgrace.

CáËåÇã¯å§âW áÚá¶

ã°åÖãoáä£ÂB áÑ ãÅåÒâäºáäqÂB

áÌãÆ áÑ

Feed us not from the bitter tree,

nor the thorny fruit (of Hell),

CáËåÃá¯å`áW áÚá¶

ãÌå×ã¦Cá×áäxÂB á°áÆ áÑ

do not place us with the devils,

CáËåRâRå¿áW áÚá¶

CáËãÎåÒâ_âÑ ÔÃá® ãnCáäËÂB

Ø㶠áÑ

nor throw us face downwards

in Hell,

ãÄå×ãQBáoás áÑ ãnCáäËÂB

ãPCá×ã[ åÌãÆ áÑ

CáËåtãRåÃâW áÚá¶

ãÉBáoã§á»åÂBand do not clothe us with

the flames and tar of Hell.

áYåÊáB áäÙãB áÐÂãB áÙ CáÖ èAåÒâs ãäÄâ¾

åÌãÆ áÑSave us from all evil, O there is no god but

You,

CáËãä`áËᶠáYåÊáB áäÙãB

áÐÂãB áÙ ãä¼ádãQ

for the sake of there being

no god but You,save us.

from the orders which are definite,

and orders which are wise,

from the decree which is not reversed nor changed,

ãÅBáoádåÂB áÀãXå×áQ

ã^Cáä`âc åÌãÆ ØãËáRâXå¿áW

åÉáBwrite my name as one

of the pilgrims of Your sacred house,

åÈâÏâ×å¯ás ãnåÒâ¿åxáÇåÂáB

åÈâÏâä`ác ãnåÑâoåRáÇåÂBwhose hajj is approved,

whose efforts are appreciated,

åÈãÏãWGáNãä×ás åÌá®

ãoáä·á¿âÇåÂáB åÈâÏâQåÒâÊâl

ãnåÒâ·å³áÇåÂáBwhose sins are forgiven,and whose evil deeds are

pardoned.

ânãäká»âW áÑ Øã£å»áW CáÇå×㶠áÄá¯å`áW åÉáB áÑ

and place for me, in whatYou destine and decree,

èUá×ã¶Cá® áäÑ èoå×ág Øã¶

a lengthening of my life, in goodness and health,

and an increase in my sustenance.

through whom,You support Your religion,

áÑnot substituting any

in my place.

I seek refuge with the majesty of Your gracious

self.

from the passing of the month of Ramadhán,

ãÍãmÎ ØãXáÃå×á åÌãÆ âoå`á·åÂB á°âÃå§áÖ åÑáB

or the appearance of the dawn of this night,

çSåÊál åÑáB çUá¯ãRáW

ØãÃáR㺠áÀá áÑ

while I still have a duty I have not carried out,

or a sin that You may punish me for.

O Alláh send Your blessings on Muhammad

O He who, existed beforeeverything else,

ي�ئ� ن�ى ك�ل ش� ي�ف� و�Then created everything, Then He will remain while

Everything perishes

ث�ل�ه� ي�اذ�اال�ذ�ي ل�ي�س� ك�م�ي�ئ� ش�

O He who has none similar To Him

ي�اذ�اال�ذ�ي ل�ي�س� ف�ي و�او�ات� ال�ع�لى م� الس�

O He who, There is none in the elevated

Heavens,

ي�ن� ض� و�ال�ف�ي األر�لى السف�

ن� ت�ه� ن� و�ال�ت�ح� ه� و�ق� و�ال�ف�nor in the deep earth,

nor above them nor below them

ن� ا�لهÀ ي�ع�ب�د� و�ال� ب�ي�ن�ه�ه� غ�ي�ر�

nor between them,A god who is worshipped

besides him.

دÅا م� د� ح� م� ل�ك� ال�ح�و�ى ع�لى ال�ي�ق��ن�ت� ا�ح�صآئ�ه� ا�ال�ا

For you is praise, a praise that

cannot be comprehended,except by You.

The ship carrying the poor and humble people, is

standing

at the shores of the sea of Your generosity and grace,

ãUácCás ÔÂãB ápBáÒá`åÂB áÉåÒâ_åoáÖáÀãXáÇåcán

hoping for permission to cross to the shores of Your

mercy

Ø㶠âÈácåoáW áÙ áYåËâ¾ åÉãB

ØãÏÂãBã¸åÖãoáäxÂB

ãoåÏáäxÂB BámÎ

My God, if You do not forgive,

in this honored month,

ãÐãÆCá×㺠áÑ ãÐãÆCá×ã{ Ø㶠áÀá á}áÃågáB åÌáÇã áäÙãB

except the one who has sincerely purified himself for You in his fasting and

prayers,

then who is there for the negligent sinner,

when he drowns in the sea of his ?

áäÙãB âÈácåoáW áÙ áYåËâ¾ åÉãB

ØãÏÂãBáÌå×ã{Cá¯åÃãÂ

åÌáÇᶠ,áÌå×ã¯å×ã§âÇåÂB

My God, if You do not have

mercy on any, except the obedient, then who is there

for the disobedient?

, áÌå×ãÃãÆCá¯åÂB áÌãÆ áäÙãB

âÄáRå»áW áÙ áYåËâ¾ åÉãB áÑ

áÌåÖãoãä|á»âÇåÃã åÌáÇá¶

And if You do not accept from any,

except the performers of (good) actions, then

who is there for those who fall short?

áÉåÒâÇãMEá»åÂB ápCᶠáÑ

áÉåÒâÇãMEáä|ÂB áeãQán ØãÏÂãBMy God, those who

fast have profited, those who stay up in prayer

have won,

, áÉåÒâ|ãÃåhâÇåÂB Ôá`áÊ áÑ

ÉåÒâRãÊåmâÇåÂB á½âkå×ãRá® âÌådáÊ

áÑand those who are sincere

have succeeded, but we are

Your sinful servants!

CáËå»ãXå®áB áÑ áÀãXáÇåcáoãQ CáËåÇácånCá¶

âÈåÖãoá¾ CáÖ á½ãÒå·á¯ãQ

ãnCáäËÂB áÌãÆ

So be kind to us through You mercy, and save us from the

fire through Your forgiveness, O Gracious (One).

áÌå×ãÇãcBáäoÂB áÈácånáB CáÖ

O Most Merciful.

áÌåÖãoãÎCáä§ÂB ãÐãÂB áäÑ

èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® âÐäÃÂB ÔáäÃá{ áÑ

O Alláh, bless Muhammad and his family, the purified

ones.

ãÈå×ãcáäoÂB ãÌÇåcáäoÂB ãÐäÃÂB

ãÈåtãQ

In the name of Alláh the Beneficent, the

Merciful.

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh bless Muhammad and the

family of Muhammad.

ãÁáqåËâÇåÂB áÀãQCáXã¿ Ø㶠áYåÃ⺠áÀáäÊãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, You have said in Your revealed book,

âÉDåoâ»åÂB ãÐå×㶠áÁãqåÊâB ÕãmáäÂB áÉCá£áÆán âoåÏáw

the month of Rama_án, in which the Qur’án

was sent,

ãÉCáºåoâ·åÂB áÑ ÓkâÏåÂB áÌãäÆ èVCáËãä×áQ áÑ

ãrCáäËÃãä ÓækâÎ

a guidance for humankind, and clear signs of guidance and

distinction (2:185).

ãÉDåoâ»åÂB áÌãÆ ãÐå×㶠áYåÂáqåÊáB CáÇãQ áÉCá£áÆán ãoåÏáw

áUáÆåoâc áYåÇáä«á¯á¶

So You have magnified the sanctity, of the

month of Rama_án, by revealing the Qur’án in

it.

èoåÏáw ã¸åÂáB åÌãäÆ Bæoå×ág CáÏáXåÃá¯á_

áÑ ãnåká»åÂB ãUáÃå×áÃãQ âÐáXå|á|ág

áÑ

And You have made it special, by placing the

night of Qadr in it, making it better than a

thousand months.

åYá£á»åÊB ãkẠáÉCá£áÆán ãoåÏáw âÅCáäÖáB ãÍãmÎ áÑ

áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, and now, the days of Rama_án are nearing completion,

åYáÆáäoá|áW åkẠãÐå×ãÂCá×á áÑ

and the nights are leaving us.

ØãäËãÆ ãÐãQ âÈáÃå®áB áYåÊáB CáÆ ÔÂãB âÐåËãÆ ØãÏÂãB CáÖ âVåoã{ åkẠáÑ

And You know better than me what status I have reached in this

month,

áÌå×ã¯áÇå_áB ã¼åÃáhåÂB áÌãÆ

ãÍãjáká¯ã Ô|åcáB áÑ

for You alone can calculate it, from all of

creation.

áÉåÒâQáäoá»âÇåÂB áÀâXá¿ãMÞáÆ ãÐãQ

áÀáÃáNás CáÇãQ áÀâÃáNåsáCá¶

áÉåÒâdãÂCáä|ÂB á½âjCáRã® áÑ

áÉåÒâÃásåoâÇåÂB áÀâMEá×ãRåÊáB áÑ

So I ask You by what, the angels close to You, Your sent Prophets, and Your virtuous servants, have

asked.

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® áØãäÃá|âW åÉáB

That You bless Muhammad and the

family of Muhammad,

áÀãXáÇåcáoãQ áUáäËá`åÂB

ØãËáÃãgåkâW áÑ ãnCáäËÂB áÌãÆ

ØãXáRáºán áäÀâ·áW åÉáB áÑ

and save me from the fire, and make me

enter Heaven, by Your mercy.

áÀãÆáoá¿ áÑ á½ãÒå·á¯ãQ

áäØáÃá® áÄáä£á·áXáW

åÉáB áÑ

Favour me by Your forgiveness and grace,

ØãMEá®âj áSå×ã`áXåtáW áÑ

ØãQâäoá»áW áÄáäRá»áXáW áÑaccept my seeking

nearness to You, and answer my prayer.

ãµåÒáhåÂB áÅåÒáÖ

ãÌåÆáÛCãQ áäØáÃá® áäÌâÇáW

áÑGrant me security on

the day of fear,

ãUáÆCá×ã»åÂB ãÅåÒá×ãÂ

âÐáWåjákå®áB èÁåÒáÎ

ãäÄâ¿ åÌãÆfrom every horror You have prepared for the

Day of Judgement.

ãÈåÖãoá¿åÂB áÀãÏå_áÒãQ

âlåÒâ®áB áÑ ØãÏÂãB

My God, I seek refuge with Your gracious self,

ãÈå×ã«á¯åÂB áÀãÂáÚá`ãQ áÑ

and Your mighty power,

ãÐå×ãÂCá×á áÑ áÉCá£áÆán

âoåÏáw âÅCáäÖáB áØã£á»åËáäÖ

åÉáBfrom (such a state) that

the days and nights of Rama_án reach

completion,

ãÐãQ ØãÊâmãgBáKâW

çSåÊál åÑáB çUá¯ãRáW

ØãÃáR㺠áÀá áÑand there still remains a sin on me, that You will

account me for,

Øã CáÎåoã·å³áW åÈá ØãäËãÆ CáÏáä|áXå»áW

åÉáB âkåÖãoâW çUáNå×ã§ág åÑáB

or a mistake that You have not forgiven me.

Õãkãä×ás Õãkãä×ás Õãkãä×ás

My Master, my Master, my Master,

áYåÊáB áäÙãB áÐÂãB áÙ CáÖ áÀâÃáNåsáB

I ask You, there is no God but You,

áYåÊáB áäÙãB áÐÂãB áÙ ålãB

for surely there is no God but You,

Cæ¢ãn ØãäËá® åjájåpCᶠãoåÏáäxÂB BámÎ Ø㶠ØãäËá® áYå×ã¢án

áYåËâ¿ åÉãB

if You are pleased with me in this month, then increase that pleasure.

ØãäËá® á¡ånCᶠáÉÝB áÌãÇᶠØãäËá® áYå×ã¢án åÌâ¿áW åÈá åÉãB

áÑ

And if You are not pleased with me then from now, be pleased

with me.

áÌå×ãÇãcBáäoÂB áÈácånáB CáÖ

O the Most Merciful of all!

âkáÇá{ CáÖ âkácáB CáÖ âÐäÃÂáB CáÖ

O Alláh, O One, O Needless,

åkáÂåÒâÖ åÈá áÑ åkãÃáÖ åÈá åÌáÆ

CáÖ

O He who does not give birth and was not born,

çkácáB BæÒâ·â¿ âÐáä åÌâ¿áäÖ åÈá áÑ

and there is none equal to Him.

ãkåÖãkádåÂB áÌãä×áÃâÆ CáÖ

O the softener of iron for Dawúd, peace be on

him.

ãÐå×áÃá® áPåÒâäÖáB åÌá® ãÅCá«ã¯åÂB

ãPáoâ¿åÂB áÑ ãäoâä£ÂB á¸ãwCá¿ CáÖ

ãÅáÚáätÂBO the remover of harm

and distress from Ayyúb, peace be on

him.

áPåÒâ»å¯áÖ ãäÈáÎ á^ãäoá·âÆ åÕáB

O the reliever of the grief of Ya`qúb, peace

be on him.

á¸âsåÒâÖ ãäÈá² áuãä·áËâÆ åÕáB

O the comforter of the sorrow of Yúsuf, peace

be on him.

O (One) who extended the shadow and had You wished

You would have made it stationary.

áÀå×áÂãB âÐáXå£áRẠáäÈâ[ æÚå×ãÂáj

ãÐå×áÃá® áuåÇáäxÂB áYåÃá¯á_ áÑ

Bæoå×ãtáäÖ Cæ£åRáº

And You made the sun its guide, then You withdrew it to

Yourself, an easy withdrawal.

ãAÝÛB áÑ ãAEáÖãoåRã¿åÂB áÑ

ãÁåÒáä§ÂB áÑ ãjåÒâ`åÂB Bál CáÖ

O the possessor of generosity and power,

grandeur and bounties.

âÈå×ãcáäoÂB âÌÇåcáäoÂB ãTájCáÏáäxÂB áÑ

ãSå×á³åÂB âÈãÂCá® áYåÊáB áäÙB áÐÂãB Ù

There is no god but You, Knower of the unseen and the manifest,the Beneficent, the Merciful.

âÌãÇå×áÏâÆ CáÖ âÌãÆåKâÆ CáÖ âÅáÚás

CáÖ âråÑâäk⺠CáÖ áYåÊáB áäÙãB áÐÂãB áÙ

There is no god but You, O Holy, O Peace,

O the Trusted, O the Protector,

â¼ãÂCág CáÖ âÐäÃÂáB CáÖ

âoãäRá¿áXâÆ CáÖ ânCáäRá_ CáÖ âqåÖãqá® CáÖ

ânãäÒá|âÆ CáÖ âLãnCáQ CáÖ

O Mighty, O Most Powerful, O Sublime.

O Alláh, O Creator, O Originator, O the Fashioner,

ÔËåtâdåÂB âAEáÇåsÛB áÀáÂ

âÐäÃÂáB CáÖ âÐäÃÂáB CáÖ âÐäÃÂáB CáÖ

O Alláh, O Alláh, O Alláh,You have the most beautiful

names,

âAÝÛB áÑ âAEáÖãoåRã¿åÂB áÑ Cá×åÃâ¯åÂB âÁCá\

åÆÛB áÑ

the highest examples, the grandeur, the bounties.

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® áØãäÃá|âW åÉáB

áÀâÃáNåsáB

I beseech You to bless Mu<ammad and the family

of Mu<ammad,

ãADáká¯âätÂB Ø㶠ãUáÃå×áäÂB ãÍãmÎ Ø㶠ØãÇåsB áÄá¯å`áW åÉáB

áÑ

and place my name, in this night, among the fortunate,

áÌå×ãä×ãäÃã® Ø㶠ØãÊCátåcãB áÑ

ãADákáÏâäxÂB á°áÆ ØãcåÑân áÑ

æTánåÒâ·å³áÆ ØãXáMCásãB áÑ

and my soul among the martyrs, let my good deeds be (written) in the `illiyyín (book of the virtuous), and my evil deeds be forgiven.

ØãRåÃẠãÐãQ âoãwCáRâW

CæËå×ã»áÖ Øã áSáÏáW åÉáB áÑ

(And I beseech You to) grant me a certainty which gives

joy to my heart,

CáÇãQ ØãËá×ã¢åoâW áÑ ØãäËá® áäÀáäxÂB

âSãÎåmâÖ CæÊCáÇåÖãB áÑØã áYåÇátáº

and a faith which drives doubt away from me,

and make me pleased with what You have granted me.

æUáËátác ãTáoãgÛB Ø㶠áäÑ æUáËátác Cá×åÊâäkÂB Øã¶

CáËãWB áÑ

(And I beseech You to) Give us good in this world, and

good in the Hereafter,

ã¼åÖãoádåÂB ãnCáäËÂB áPBámá®

CáË㺠áÑ

and save us from the punishment of the burning

fire. (2:201)

áÀå×áÂãB áUáRå²áäoÂB áÑ á½áoå¿âw áÑ á½áoå¿ãl CáÏå×ã¶

ØãËåºâpånB áÑ

(And I beseech You to) grant me in it (Night of Qadr) Your remembrance, and Your gratitude, and desire for

(pleasing) You,

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ âÐá áYå»áä¶áÑ CáÇãÂ

á¼å×ã¶åÒáäXÂB áÑ áUáQCáÊÛB áÑ

turning (to You for repentance), and success,

for all that You have granted Mu<ammad and his family,

âÅáÚáätÂB âÈãÏå×áÃá® áÑ

ãÐå×áÃá®

peace be on him and on them.

O Alláh, gladden the people of the graves.

O Alláh, enrich every poor person.

áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, satisfy every hungry one.

èÉCáÖåoâ® áäÄâ¾ âuå¾B

áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, clothe every unclothed one.

ÌåÖãkáÆ ãäÄâ¾ áÌåÖáj ã¤åºB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, help every debtor pay his debts.

èPåÑâoå¿áÆ ãäÄâ¾ åÌá®

å^ãäoᶠáäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, relieve every distressed one.

èSåÖãoá² áäÄâ¾ áäjân áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, return every traveller (to his home).

èoå×ãsáB áäÄâ¾ áäÀⶠáäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh release every prisoner.

åÌãäÆ èkãsCᶠáäÄâ¾ åeãÃå{áB

áäÈâÏäÃÂáB áÌå×ãÇãÃåtâÇåÂB

ãnåÒâÆâBO Alláh, correct every

wrong in the affairs of the Muslims.

¤åÖãoáÆ áäÄâ¾ ã¸åwB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, cure every sick one.

á½CáËã³ãQ CáÊáoå»á¶ áäkâs

áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, ease our poverty by Your wealth.

áÀãÂCác ãÌåtâdãQ CáËãÂCác áAåÒâs

åoãä×á² áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh, change our evil state to a good one through Your excellent state.

áÌåÖáäkÂB CáäËá® ã¤åºBá

äÈâÏáäÃÂáB

O Alláh, relieve us of our debts,

ãoå»á·åÂB áÌãÆ CáËãËå²áB áÑ

and help us against poverty.

çoåÖãkẠèAåØáw ãäÄâ¾ ÔÃá®

Surely You have power over all things.
