The History of Soda Blasting The soda-blasting process was developed

in the late 1980s by a group of New York City engineers who were given the task of restoring the Statue of Liberty.

The two primary concerns from the onset of the project were the impact on the environment and not damaging the soft copper plating on the statue. They met these concerns by developing the soda-blasting process, using sodium bi-carbonate (baking soda) as the blast media.

The success of the Statue of Liberty restoration brought a lot of attention to the soda-blasting process, and soon, many commercial enterprises were discovering new applications for the process.

NON TOXIC NON HAZARDOUS NON FLAMMABLE NON CORROSIVE NON SPARKING ODOURLESS NO VOC BIODEGRADABLE SILICA FREE MOISTURE RESISTANT NON HARM TO EYE OR SKIN pH LEVEL IS 8.4MAXWATER SOLUBLE (after blasting) ENVIROMENTALLY FRIENDLY100% FOOD GRADE (Hallal Certified)

Advantages of AM Soda System

Mohs Hardness ScaleIn the Mohs scale, ten common minerals are arranged in order of increasing hardness and assigned numbers:

1) talc 2) Soda (2.5)3) calcite, Kieserite (magnesium sulfate) (3.5)4) fluorite, Plastic Media (4), Corn cob (4.5)5) apatite 6) orthoclase ( feldspar)7) Silica Sand, Glass , Quartz CRYSTAL GRIT Garnet 8) topaz 9) corundum 10) diamond

Soda is effective on most surfaces and will not damage the original surface condition unlike other conventional blasting media

Why Soda is safe compare with other media?

Soda Blasting Saves Money

Soda Blasting is a one step process.

NO Degreasing, Soaking, Washing or Heating.

Eliminate manual processes- Hand Sanding- Chemical Cleaning- Chemical Stripping- Degreasing- Water Blasting etc

Cut the cost of buying chemicals, degreasers, sanding disks and Waste Disposal.
