Why Class Procedures?

So you know what to expect on a daily basis.

Help the class run smoothly.

Allow us to focus all of our attention on the wonderful world of math!

4

Your are in a “SAFE ZONE”

Mr. O’Brien’s classroom is a Safe Zone.

No one is allowed to say anything ugly about you or to you

while you are here.

You are not allowed to gossip about others, and others are

not allowed to gossip about you.

You are free to ask/answer questions, share your feelings,

and be your true self.

We are a team/unit in this class. Everyone supports

everyone.

You will receive full credit for homework if you at least try every problem. Write down any questions you have for class the next day.

The assignment is written on the board each day. You are responsible for writing it down in your planner. You may double check the assignment on my website.
