Mr. Parow is the son of Mr.and Mrs. Wilbert H. Parrow.Hehas been employed by GrummanAircraft Engineering Corp. andattended Farmingdale Agricul-tural and Technical Institute.He is presently serving in TheU.S. Navy. The couple are re-siding in Lakehurst, New Jersey.

Area People Attend Science Fiction DoMrs. Howard. Veryzer and son,

Howard, Jr. 6f West Islip andMrs. Estelle Sanders of Babylon,attended the annual Hugo Awardpresentation as part of the 25thWorld Science Fiction Conventionheld at the Statler-Hilton in N.Y.on Labor Day weekend.

Mrs. Veryzer also exhibitedsome of her paintings at theConvention. Artist Jan Cherostpurchased one and a large por-trait was taken by Gene Rodden-berry, Hollywood producer of

"Star Trek" and other tele-vision shows.
