“THE GOLDEN RULE”Matthew 7:12

Matthew 7:12

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law

and the Prophets.

Leviticus 19:18

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Matthew 22:35-40 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Romans 13:8-10

He who loves his fellow man has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments…are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." 10 Love…is the fulfillment of the law.

THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE GOLDEN RULE

Romans 5:6-11

Romans 5:6-11 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! 10 For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
