THE STUDENTS

Former Michigan State All American Steve Smith announced his NBA retirement in 2005 at MSU’s Clara Bell Smith Student- Athlete Academic Center, which opened in 1998 after Steve donated $2.5 million to the facility. The gift was the largest ever given by a professional athlete to any college or university.
