In Spring of 2012 Jose Luis made History by been the first Undocumented student who ran for Student Body President at Texas A&M University and he finished in 4th place. His story gathered National 

attention. His story was covered in the New York Times, Fox news, Univision, Telemundo, EuropeanNews Papers, The Guardian with in other media.
