Working Offline

Chromebooks have limited offline capabilities if you do not have wireless access. When syncing is turned on you will be able to edit documents. Spreadsheets are "view only" at this time.

When your are connected to the internet again, the file will automatically update. To view a tutorial for setting up offline syncing click here. NOTE: No applications will need to be downloaded to your laptop for the offline access to work.

Student Help

We need to have parent permission to check out devices before students can take the equipment off school property.

Until the orientation and forms are complete, students can check out the device during the day at the LMC and then return it at the end of the day.

At the end of this presentation, youwill receive all form links.

Signatures Required

We will be asking that parents complete surveys for the pilot: at the start and at the end. This will assist us in modifying the program as we progress as well as plan for future opportunities. Surveys will be anonymous.
