ISEP: International Student Exchange Program

• Exchange programme for American and non-American students.

• Partly funded by the American government.

• Associated institutions of higher education:> 130 American institutions;> 100 non-American institutions.

• Funding based on closed grant system.

• One non-American student can go to the US for each American student who studies

outside the US.

ISEP: Conditions for participation

• 1st year of degree programme completed*

• Enrolled as regular full-time student at Radboud University Nijmegen (also during period you are abroad in the US)

• Sufficient academic knowledge and interest

• Sufficient English proficiency (TOEFL test mandatory!)

• Confident personality

• Clear reasons for choosing the US

VSBfonds scholarships

VSBfonds scholarships

Each year, the VSBfonds awards a large number of scholarships of up to €10,000 to dedicated students who are looking to develop further.

VSBfonds scholarships are awarded to students with clear motivation and social engagement.

You do not need to be a genius, but you do need good study results. You decide what you want to do, where and why. Next you convince the VSBfonds why they should support your plans.

VSBfonds scholarship

Criteria

• Full-time students with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree• Clear motivation and social engagement• The candidate must have pursued extracurricular activities• The candidate must have Dutch nationality• The candidate must be under the age of 30• The candidate's results must be well above the pass grade. • The candidate must graduate between 1 March 2015 and 31

December 2016.

VSBfonds scholarships

• 2 March 2016 - 4 April 2016Selection; written and oral phase 

• 4 April 2016The candidates for the 2016 VSBfonds scholarships are nominated by the educational institutions.

World-wide bi-national exchange programme. Objective: promote understanding between people of the United States and those of other countries.

Fulbright grantsStudentswho wish to study at graduate level at an excellent American university, both Master programs and the first year of a PhD to be completed in the US

- accepted or in the progress of being accepted to a graduate programme at an American university- Dutch nationality- good study results and extra-curricular activities

PhDfinancial support dissertation for research in the US

- need to conduct research in the United States- quality of the research proposal- innovative character of the research

Scholars - grants for scholars are intended for lecturing- possible to combine with research but lecturing is main focus
