About the report: As we look ahead towards the holiday season for 2015,

the team at Sphere has assembled nine distinct themes – ranging from

traditional to whimsical to fashion forward – based on a full year of travel,

research and inspiration.

The team scoured 40+ tradeshows in 2013, drawing holiday inspiration from

Paperworld, Christmasworld, Ambiente, Maison & Objet and Heimtextil, to

name a few. In addition we visited retail in the U.S. and abroad using an

expert eye to capture directional products and displays.

Chalet Chic is an evolution of the winter lodge look,

mixing in woodland and rustic elements with cozy,

masculine undertones.

Freshening up the look for 2015 are the enchanted

forest elements of photorealistic creatures and

whimsical motifs and icons, as well as unexpected

additions of black and varied blues to the palette.
