School Council
You can be part of the school council and raise issues that you and the other students have about the running of the school.
Lots of changes have happened because of the school council - e.g. discos at the end of term, uniform, meal variety, times of school day.
TRANSFER DAYS
Tuesday 7th July – Thurs 9th July 2015
- MFL Day June. Tues 2nd June
- Full day at Eskdale in Primary uniform, experiencing French / German and team building tasks.
What will I need ?
Wear comfortable clothing (not your school uniform) - trainers are advised.
Bag with pencil case, water bottle, PE kit and money for lunch.
(main course + dessert = £3.00 / chilled water = free!) Any medication e.g. inhalers. Forms that parents have to fill in will be completed on
Weds 8th July.
Where do I go ?
Meet the coach or train at the correct time. (Mr Bloor will be on the train)
Arrive at Eskdale School and meet Mr Raw / Mrs Whelan and other staff in the playground.
When school starts go with Mr Raw into the hall to meet other Y6 students and teachers.
Tuesday 7th July
Remain with other Y6 students all day. Take part in a variety of activities to help
you get to know one another, the school and staff.
Wednesday 8th & Thursday 9th July
Meet in the playground then go to your form room. Eskdale staff & pupils will help you.
Follow the timetable in your ‘New Horizons’ booklet. This will give you a taste of life at Eskdale.
Important information
School planner. Uniform – Available from school. T-shirts
and Jumpers Equipment. Jewellery – 1 stud for boys, 1 pair studs for girls. A watch or wrist band.

Simple but smart! Some elements only available from school (need to be
ordered):Blue sweatshirt (with school logo) – 2?White polo shirt (with school logo) -2?Blue multi-sports top and / or micro fleece – 1/2?
Some elements available from school, but alternatives from other outlets are fine:White polo shirt (without school logo) to be worn underneath Eskdale sweatshirt
Navy blue polo shirt / shorts / football socks / tracksuit bottoms for PE
All other elements (trousers / skirts / shoes etc.) can be bought from any outlet (not available from school)
