• Needs Assessment Survey (Esmeralda CSD Staff)
• MAPS Test Scores (Students)• Discuss Smarter Balanced Nevada State

• The Board will develop the District Goals for the 2016 – 2017 school year
• Some suggested areas from the superintendent for development are as follows:
• Student Achievement/Accountability• Technology• Maintenance of the District• Community and Parent Engagement

• The previous work suggests: • To educate our students so they have an
opportunity to be productive members of society.
• Objectives: It represents a simple purpose and mission that is perpetual and positive.

provide excellence in academic and physical growth. Marriage between intellectual and physical growth – sound mind, sound body.
