Job satisfaction rates are highest in Germany (64.3% satisfied), France (64.2%), the United States (64.1%), and the Netherlands (62.5%).

Job satisfaction rates are lowest in Greece (39.0%), Poland (42.9%), Italy (44.0%), and Ireland (48.8%).

Prompt, Productive Employees Are Satisfied Employees

Meanwhile, Italians report that only 46% of their work hours are productive, the lowest found in this study—and Italians have the third-lowest satisfaction rate (44%).

Germans report that 72% of their work hours are productive, the highest in any of the 14 nations studied—and Germans also have the highest job satisfaction rate (64%).
