QR codes

• Usage – • Enter Vol Hall garage and take a ticket (DO

NOT scan the QR code at this time) • When you leave:

1. Insert parking ticket 2. Scan your QR code

• Either the department will be charged the $5 rate OR

• The guest will be charged the $5 conference rate

Un-dated One-Day Visitor Permits 1. One-Day Permits will be issued with a log sheet that is required to be returned.

2. Departments are required to complete this log sheet as each permit is distributed.

Please return any permits written in error to Parking & Transit no later than the next

business day for replacement. (Either Circle Park Booth or Parking & Transit Office)

(Please use a fine tip, black marker and DO NOT try to correct errors on

permits! Any altered permits could result in your visitor receiving a citation.)

3. Additional permits cannot be issued until the completed log sheet is submitted.

4. VISITORS ONLY! Do not issue these permits to UT Knoxville faculty, staff, or

students.

5. All visitor permits expire each year on July 31. Unused permits must be returned

on/before July 31 for credit.

UT Emeritus Permit Policy

Emeritus Permit Policies:

1. Are issued every 3 years. 2. Are NOT valid in public pay garage, Circle Park, or other

reserved spaces. 3. Are valid for occasional parking only and should not be used

to park daily on campus. 4. Are not valid during special events or sporting events

including football and basketball games. 5. Are for the use of the retiree only and may not be loaned,

sold or used by anyone other than the retiree. It is not transferable.

UT Emeritus Permit Policy

Eligibility:

1. Regular employees must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of service with the University of Tennessee Knoxville to qualify.

2. Employee must be officially retired from the University, not just retirement age, when terminating employment.

3. Should the retiree return to work in a part-time, term or contract position for which they are compensated, the retiree will be required to purchase the appropriate permit.

4. Retirees that regularly volunteer on campus will be required to display a regular staff parking permit.
