Re: 2019 South Jersey 4-H Teen Conference to be held March 1-3, 2019 The 2019 South Jersey 4-H Teen Conference Planning Committee has an exciting weekend planned. Your teen delegates have selected INVESTIGATE YOUR FUTURE WITH 4-H as this year’s theme. The conference will focus on leadership, vision, research, communication, and creativity. Crown Plaza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey will be our conference headquarters. A fantastic weekend full of fun, friendship, and finding your future awaits you! SJTC will begin with registration on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the hotel’s main lobby. Upon arrival, you will check in at the registration table with Burlington and Monmouth teens to receive your room key and conference packet. For our collection drive, the SCARLET RAPTOR FOOD PANTRY will be the recipient of your donations of non-perishable food items. You can drop off your donations in the lobby before proceeding to your guest room. A buffet dinner will be served in the Gallery Room during registration hours. Following dinner, the conference will begin at 7:00pm with the opening ceremony and evening program developed by Cumberland and Cape May teens. On Saturday morning, we will hold a variety of educational workshops planned by the Gloucester and Salem teens focusing on college and careers opportunities. Attendees will be participating in community service activities on Saturday afternoon. Please watch for more detailed information to follow from Ocean teens. Saturday night is the banquet, dance, game room and, always a highlight, the 4-H Talent show. You are invited to showcase your talent at this fun event. Mercer and Camden teens will have the place rocking! Our conference will conclude on Sunday morning, March 3, with Atlantic teens holding a 4-H edition of “Shark Tank” and the closing ceremony, ending at 11:00 a.m. We look forward to seeing you at SJTC!
