2020 NEPCA Winter Conference—MGM Springfield

Summary

More than 120 members and guests attended the recent

2020 NEPCA Winter Conference at the MGM Springfield. The

day was filled with educational and informational presenta-

tions (and a bit of humor from Lenny Clarke). Engineers in

attendance received certificates for 2.5 hours of education.

Producers in the audience heard about new technologies in

precast as well as new uses for fiber in precast concrete. And

all attendees heard about how to build a culture of trust &

accountability in their firms as well as how to overcome hesi-

tation in achieving goals both personal and professional.

This year’s meeting also provided an opportunity for mem-

bers to meet and hear from the new President of the Na-

tional Precast Concrete Association, Fred Grubbe.
