23rd Annual Living History Day at Camp Withycombe Celebrating Armed Forces Day 2019
Hosted by The Military Vehicle Collectors Club and Oregon Military Museum
On May 18, 2019, approximately 1,000 visitors interacted with current military personnel, living history interpreters, military vehicle collectors and military history enthusiasts. On display:
33 large-scale military equipment and vehicles, from Jeeps and Mules to a Bridge Erection Boat and M60 Main Battle Tank (Patton)
15 artillery pieces, from a Model 1841 six-pounder field gun to today’s
modern artillery such as an M119A3 105mm howitzer
14 booths/displays of military equipment and living history interpreters
2 historic circa 1911 buildings filled with exhibits
about Oregon and Camp Withycombe’s military history
2 booths with food for purchase or by donation
