commences at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Castlereagh Rd, Penrith at 7am on Sunday, 14 November 2010. Please note that Castlereagh Road and entry to the Regatta Centre will be closed from 6:30am.
- As all events were closed early last year, please enter early to avoid disappointment. On-line entries available onwww.nepeantriathlon.com
To be eligible to race in the first wave and be eligible for outright placings and the chance to race in the Glenmore Park Supersprint and Billy Baxter Bolt, you must race in either the first female wave or the first male wave. This is not an issue for the ladies as the first wave is for all females in the race. For the male competitors, the first male wave comprises all competitors 29 and under. If you are aged 30 and over and would like to move up to this wave to be eligible for the prize money and the two sprint races, you must meet one of the following criteria:
a) Have a Professional Licence;
b) Finished in the top 20 in 2009; or
c) Supply details of your results in Triathlon that support your entry as being competitive for outright honours to the race Committee (details below).
Should you wish to move to this wave, please contact Gordon Bell on 0420 514 220 or Warwick Brennan on 02 4735 2544 (after hours) before entering. If you then qualify for this wave after discussing with Gordon/Warwick, you need to tick First Wave’ on the online Entry Form otherwise you will be placed in your age group wave. Please note that once you move up to this first wave, you will not be eligible for your age group awards as it has been determined that racing in the first wave may provide an unfair advantage over competitors racing in the age group waves.
