Preservol™ membrane preservative allowsmembranes to be safely storedPreservol™ powder membrane preservative allowsmembranes to be stored for short and extended periodswithout loss of performance.

As a powder, Preservol™ is more convenient to store,easier to handle and may be transported moreeconomically. This product is reliable at extremetemperatures and has an extended shelf-life, maintainingproduct stability long-term.

Preservol™ is safe for use on polyamide thin-filmcomposite membranes, cellulose acetate membranes,nanofiltration and ultrafiltration membranes.

P r o d u c t A p p l i c a t i o n

Thoroughly clean membranes with Lavasol™ orOptiClean™ membrane cleaners.

Mix 1 pound of Preservol™ to 6 gallons of good qualitywater such a RO permeate or better.

Recirculate solution for at least 15 minutes. A recirculationpressure of less than 60 psi is recommended.

After recirculation, shut-down the system. Do not allowthe Preservol™ solution to drain from the membranes.The membranes may then be stored in the systemvessels or they may be removed and stored in separatecontainers.

To use membranes after storage, first rinse them for 30minutes using good quality water such as DI or ROpermeate.
