Catholicism- Part 1
Fulfilled explores the biblical roots of the Catholic Faith. It uncovers God’s consistent
design for our worship of Him and His relationship with Us. Learn how the Old Testament Tabernacle can be used as a blueprint for the Catholic Faith and how Jesus fulfilled it in the New Testament.
Part 1 focuses on the elements found in the outer sanctuary of the Tabernacle and how they
connect to the liturgical calendar, the priesthood, purgatory, baptism & more.

Second Collection April 21 & 22– Catholic Home Missions Appeal
Support the Catholic Home Missions Appeal today!
Right now, over 40 percent of dioceses in the United States are considered home mission territory because they are unable to fund the essential
pastoral work needed in their communities. Your support funds programs, such as religious
education, seminary formation, and lay ministry training, to build vibrant faith communities right here in the United States. Please be generous.
More information can be found at www.usccb.org/home-missions.
THE SHROUD OF TURIN: AN ADVENTURE FOR THE SOUL
A 3-D Encounter of Jesus in the Shroud of Turin Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Rm 5/6
April 26th at 7:00PM
You have likely seen documentaries on the Shroud, but nothing can compare with seeing a life-size
photograph of the Shroud, experimenting with your
Smart-Phone camera and letting science and the Gospels come
together in witness of the Passion. Deacon Peter Schumacher was a
member of the largest scientific team ever assembled to conduct an investigation into this amazing artifact
in 1978. He heads up an internationally known museum founded in in 2009. He appeared in the
Discovery Channel documentary “Unwrapping the Shroud: New Evidence.”
Come and see the exhibits to be displayed. This presentation brings to you an Easter experience of
joy and hope. Everyone is welcome.

Now fluffy, little, lambs don’t stray from their mommy’s. The sheep that will stray is the most obstreperous, troublesome one.” Sometimes we think we have to have it all together before we can enter into a relationship with God. The image of the Good Shepherd shows us that Jesus is seeking us out and wants to have a relationship with us, even when we don’t have it all together, even when we stray from Him. God loves me, even when I don’t love myself. A young man named Jacque Fesch is up for canonization. This man robbed a bank, killed a police officer, and received the death penalty for his crimes. Despite entering death row as a confessed atheist, Jacque encountered Jesus, had a conversion, became a mystic, and wrote beautiful letters apologizing for his crime and testifying to God’s great love for us all.
Jacque received his final confession and the Eucharist the morning of his execution. In his final moments, he asked for and kissed a crucifix. If God can work through Jacque, He can work through us all.
