DescriptionDescription

Completely gut existing kitchen and bath. Kitchen – Add custom designed cabinets

and inserts, add valance for new recessed lighting, Add Silestone countertops, relocate some electrical for accessibility, replace vinyl floor in kitchen and dining area with porcelain tile, add tile backsplash, replace sink and faucet, replace existing appliances, replace old baseboard moldings.

Bath – Replace shower/tub unit with barrier free shower unit, replace sink and faucet, redo sink drain for more leg room, replace vinyl floor with porcelain tile and replace old baseboard moldings.

General work – Replaced all door hardware with lever type handles and replaced all outlet and switch covers to match new design, repaint kitchen, dining area, hallway and bathroom walls and ceilings and add new window treatments.

General Contractor – Ralph Rosato, Wenham. Removal of all existing items, added valance, tile work and baseboard moldings. Sub contracted electrical and Silestone countertop work. Also pulled required permits and scheduled work to be done with other contractors to minimize downtime.

Cabinet Maker – J.D. Custom Woodworking, Peabody. Design, fabrication and installation of all cabinets and window framing.

Plumber – Jeff VanKnowe, Danvers. All plumbing for new shower unit, bathroom sink, kitchen sink, gas cooktop and waterline for refrigerator.

Duel water controls. 1 for handheld unit and 1 for the regular shower head. Can run either one or both.

HallwayHallway carpet was replaced with tile

for ease of rolling my wheelchair. The thicker the carpet and pad is the more difficult it is to roll and/or turn on. Where desired, Berber type Carpets work best.
