GENERAL INFORMATION

The purpose of this manual is to assist you in operating andmaintaining your lawn and garden sprayer. Please read itcarefully as it furnishes information which will help youachieve years of dependable trouble free operation.

WARRANTY / PARTS / SERVICE

Products are warranted for one year from date of purchaseagainst manufacturer or workmanship defects.

Your authorized dealer is the best source of replacementparts and service. To obtain prompt, efficient service, alwaysremember to give the following information:

1. Correct part description and part number.2. Model Number of your sprayer.3. Serial Number of your sprayer.

Part description and part numbers can be obtained from theillustrated parts list section of this manual.

Whenever you need parts or repair service, contact yourdistributor / dealer first. For warranty work always take youroriginal sales slip, or other evidence of purchase date, to yourdistributor / dealer.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

• Corrosion Resistant Polyethylene Tank.• 12 Volt Diaphragm Pump.• Pressure Gauge-Adjustable Pressure Range.• 15 Foot Handgun Hose.

CAUTION: Always check the vehicle load rating before usingthis sprayer. The loaded weight of the sprayer and boomassembly is about 170 lbs. when the tank is full for a 15 gallonunit and 250 lbs. for a 25 gallon unit.It is important to test the sprayer with plain water before actualspraying is attempted. This will enable you to check thesprayer for leaks in the plumbing system.

ASSEMBLY

The sprayer is assembled at the factory, and the only assem-bly necessary is to hook up the wiring to an existing 12 voltpower source. The red wire of the two wire set must beconnected to the positive post on the battery or the “Hot”connection on a switch or to the ammeter. The dark wire maybe grounded or connected to the negative battery post.

The pressure gauge is shipped in a parts bag located in thetank. Thread the gauge into the open port of the tee fittingwhich is located near the pump outlet port. Use thread sealanton the gauge threads.

OPERATION

The pump on the sprayer is equipped with a pressure switchthat is factory set at a maximum of 60 PSI. Pressure may bedecreased by opening the regulating valve. The more it isopened, the lower the pressure will be.

system and out through the handgun. Use the handgun onthe sprayer to thoroughly wash all internal parts of the tankand tank cover.

Refill the tank about half full with plain water and use achemical neutralizer such as Nutra-Sol or equivalent andrepeat cleaning instructions above. Flush the entire sprayerwith the neutralizing agent. Follow the chemical manufactur-ers disposal instructions of all wash or rinsing water.

WINTER STORAGE

Drain all water out of sprayer paying special attention topump, valves, and handgun. These items are especiallyprone to damage from chemicals and freezing weather.

The sprayer should be winterized before storage by pump-ing a solution of R.V. anti-freeze through the entire plumbing.Proper care and maintenance will prolong the life of thesprayer.

The handgun has an adjustable nozzle which allows thespray to be adjusted from a cone shaped fine mist to a straightstream. It is normal for the pump to cycle when spraying witha fine mist spray.

Regularly clean the strainer which is located on the bottom ofthe intake tube. Remove the strainer from the tube and cleanwith water.

WARNING: Some chemicals will damage the pump valves ifallowed to soak untreated for a length of time. Always flushthe pump with water after use. Do not allow chemicals to sitin pump for extended times of idleness. Follow the chemicalmanufactures instructions on disposal of all waste water fromthe sprayer.

AFTER SPRAYING

After use fill the sprayer part way with water, start the sprayerand allow clear water to be pumped through the plumbing
