Zone Control SystemWhat is a Zone Control System?A grid referencing system used to map out areas of space... It is used by plumbers, heating and electrical engineers for boiler systems and safety alarm systems in buildings... and is used as a grid reference by the emergency services in urban and rural area...

Why bother?• It will help organise your waste recycling system• Manageable sized areas - easy to maintain• Segregation - use of colour coding for recycling• Reduce bad practice and increase efficiency (lean)• ZCS are used for fire risk assessments• Makes Inspections and Reviews easier • Allowing for continuous improvement in the process

Activity System Definition of the Situation

StrategyAlthough thought maybe seen by some as subjective, it is the actions one takes by using ones own definition of the situation and the social relationships between the interactions of the participants and how others respond to the actions taken, which create socially real consequences...Clive Burgess 13th July 2005

Activity SystemSome Basic Assumptions

● Society = the sum total of or an ensemble of social relationships...

● PBOG is a reflection of 'organizational life'● Sustainable development is a controlling

mechanism for reducing production/consumption globally.

● That climate change can be slowed down by changing people's patterns of behaviour
