Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

�� ح�يم الر� ح�من� الر� الله� � م ��س ب

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

$و$ل�ى و$ت $س$ ع$ب

[80:1] He frowned and turned (his) back,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

$ع�م$ى �األ ج$اءه, $ن أ

[80:2] Because there came to him the blind man.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ك�ى $ز� ي �ه, $ع$ل ل ,د�ر�يك$ ي و$م$ا

[80:3] And what would make you know that he would purify himself,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

�ر$ى الذ>ك $نف$ع$ه, ف$ت �ر, $ذ�ك ي �و$ أ

[80:4] Or become reminded so that the reminder should profit him?

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

$غ�ن$ى ت �اس م$ن� م�ا$ أ

[80:5] As for him who considers himself free from need (of you),

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

$ص$د�ى ت $ه, ل $نت$ ف$أ

[80:6] To him do you address yourself.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ك�ى $ز� ي $ال� أ �ك$ $ي ع$ل و$م$ا

[80:7] And no blame is on you if he would not purify himself

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ع$ى �$س ي ج$اءك$ م$ن م�ا$ و$أ

[80:8] And as to him who comes to you striving hard,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ى $خ�ش$ ي و$ه,و$

[80:9] And he fears,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

$ه�ى $ل ت �ه, ع$ن $نت$ ف$أ

[80:10] From him will you divert yourself.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

Nة �ر$ $ذ�ك ت �ه$ا �ن إ $ال� ك

[80:11] Nay! surely it is an admonishment.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ه, $ر$ ذ$ك اء ش$ ف$م$ن

[80:12] So let him who pleases mind it.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

Tم$ة $ر� مWك Tص,ح,ف ف�ي

[80:13] In honored books,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

Tة مWط$ه�ر$ Tف,وع$ة � م�ر

[80:14] Exalted, purified,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

Tة ف$ر$ س$ �د�ي ي$ �أ ب

[80:15] In the hands of scribes

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

Tة ر$ $ر$ ب T ام �ر$ ك

[80:16] Noble, virtuous.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ه, �ف$ر$ $ك أ م$ا ان, �نس$ �اإل �ل$ ق,ت

[80:17] Cursed be man! how ungrateful is he!

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

$ق$ه, ل خ$ Tء�ي ش$ ي>$ أ � م�ن

[80:18] Of what thing did He create him?

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ه, ف$ق$د�ر$ $ق$ه, ل خ$ Tف$ة�Wط ن م�ن

[80:19] Of a small seed; He created him, then He made him according to a measure,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ه, ر$ $س� ي �يل$ ب الس� ,م� ث

[80:20] Then (as for) the way-- He has made it easy (for him)

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ه, $ر$ ق�ب$ ف$أ $ه, م$ات

$ أ ,م� ث

[80:21] Then He causes him to die, then assigns to him a grave,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ه, ر$ $نش$ أ اء ش$ �ذ$ا إ ,م� ث

[80:22] Then when He pleases, He will raise him to life again.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ه, م$ر$$ أ م$ا $ق�ض� ي $م�ا ل $ال� ك

[80:23] Nay; but he has not done what He bade him.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ط$ع$ام�ه� �ل$ى إ ان, �نس$ �اإل $نظ,ر� �ي ف$ل

[80:24] Then let man look to his food,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

hا ص$ب �م$اء ال $ا �ن $ب ص$ب �ا $ن أ

[80:25] That We pour down the water, pouring (it) down in abundance,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

قhا ش$ ر�ض$$ �األ $ا ق$ق�ن ش$ ,م� ث

[80:26] Then We cleave the earth, cleaving (it) asunder,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

hا ب ح$ ف�يه$ا $ا �ن $ت نب$ ف$أ

[80:27] Then We cause to grow therein the grain,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

jا و$ق$ض�ب jا $ب ن و$ع�

[80:28] And grapes and clover,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

jال�$خ و$ن jا ,ون �ت ي و$ز$

[80:29] And the olive and the palm,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

jا �ب غ,ل �ق$ و$ح$د$ائ

[80:30] And thick gardens,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

hا $ب و$أ jه$ة� و$ف$اك

[80:31] And fruits and herbage

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

�,م �ع$ام�ك $ن و$أل� �,م �ك ل $اعjا م�ت

[80:32] A provision for you and for your cattle.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ة, الص�اخ� ج$اءت� �ذ$ا ف$إ

[80:33] But when the deafening cry comes,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

يه� $خ� أ �م�ن ء, ��م$ر ال Wف�ر$ ي $و�م$ ي

[80:34] The day on which a man shall fly from his brother,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

�يه� ب$ و$أ م>ه�

, و$أ

[80:35] And his mother and his father,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

�يه� $ن و$ب �ه� $ت ب و$ص$اح�

[80:36] And his spouse and his son--

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

�يه� ,غ�ن ي Nن� أ ش$ Tذ� $و�م$ئ ي ��ه,م م>ن Tر�ئ�ام ,ل> �ك ل

[80:37] Every man of them shall on that day have an affair which will occupy him.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

Nة ف�ر$ �مWس Tذ� $و�م$ئ ي Nو,ج,وه

[80:38] (Many) faces on that day shall be bright,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

Nة ر$ �ش� $ب ت �مWس Nة$ ض$اح�ك

[80:39] Laughing, joyous.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

Nة $ر$ غ$ب �ه$ا $ي ع$ل Tذ� $و�م$ئ ي Nو$و,ج,وه

[80:40] And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust,

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

Nة $ر$ ق$ت ه$ق,ه$ا �$ر ت

[80:41] Darkness shall cover them.

Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)

ة, �ف$ج$ر$ ال ة, $ف$ر$ �ك ال ه,م, �ك$ $ئ و�ل, أ

[80:42] These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked.
