Getting Your Student Involved
Renaissance
• Students will qualify for Renaissance cards during Back to School Processing with
their 8th grade second semester grades. If they did not attend Canyon Hills they need
to bring a copy of their report card with them.
• 4.0 students from Canyon Hills for both years will be recognized at our Fall Academic
Rally as 4.0 Canyon Hills. They are our feeder junior high and we are recognizing
them as their Renaissance program was not able to because it was the end of the
year.

Leadership – USB and Renaissance
• Applications will be available March 12 online on the Ayala webpage. All information will be
listed in the packet. They are due March 31st.
Class Officers
• Elections will take place in August after school starts. Packets will be online during Back to School
Processing. The Acting Class President will be a Freshmen in USB Leadership before elections
take place.

• This will take place in August before school starts. Dates will be released soon so check back on
the school website.
