LIBRARY HOURS
• In addition to regular school hours, the library is open from 7:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
LIBRARY PASSES
• Stop in before school to get a pre-signed pass to come from
a study hall.
• Remember your agenda.
• Upon entering the library, your first stop should be the circulation desk.
• Be sure to sign in when you’re coming in with a pre-signed pass, a pass from a teacher, or to take a test.

If you are in the library on a pass and
want to use a computer, note that
classes have priority.
Study TablesYou can work at the tables situated around the library.
As with the computer labs, classes have priority.
Shelving Locations
• Fiction – Located on shelves between
Computer Lab 1 and the study tables
– Arranged alphabetically by author
Shelving Locations
• Non-fiction – Located along the right side of the library
– Arranged according to Dewey decimal classification
Shelving Locations• Reference
– Located along the perimeter of the library starting by the AV room
OPAC
• To search for a book, click on OPAC on the desktop
• From here you can type in any search words
To borrow materials…Bring your Student ID and the items you wish to borrow
to the circulation desk, and Mrs. Hearne will assist you!
Rules to rememberNo food or drink
No headphones or other electronics
Ask before printing
You may use a flash drive to transport work
Stay on task!
No emailing, Facebook, or games (unless assigned by a teacher)
See you at the library!
