Features of a Chinese Garden

The design of the garden is based on a garden plan during the Tang Dynasty (618 AD to 907 AD). One of the unusual tree in the garden.

The centrepiece of the garden is the golden pavilion and a red bridge.

It is unusual to have a golden pavilion like this but a red bridge is fairly common.

Decoration on the roof of the golden pavilion.

Flowering trees and fossil trunks.

In Fengshui (mythical influence of nature on people) associates water with prosperity.

Chinese gardens are made up of varieties of views, instead of an open plan unrestricted panoramic view.
