and that are passed along by communication and imitation from

one generation to the next

Always stop somebody who they see working unsafely

• Conscious competence– We know we can do it and are aware

Please remember Safety is not about initiatives which run for a week or a month

– Effective SSOW that people can and do follow.• Managers who display

– “Visible Demonstrated Leadership”• Value Safety Reps and support them fully• Involve everyone in the process• Understand people, talk openly and honestly

If this is a journey how far do you have to travel to know that you have achieved the ultimate destination of a totally safe environment ?
