WORKING WITH STUDENTSTaught lessons based on materials from Common Sense Media
*Had students create and share a digital citizenship media project -Glogster -Screencasts -PowerPoints -Other media ideas?
*Digital Citizenship classes are a part of our Library/Media Center curriculum.
*I follow up with students constantly and consistently. The older kids know I am going to discuss it with them and that I like to hear their thoughts on digital citizenship issues.

SCHOOL CULTURE & DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP
• Digital Citizenship must be a part of our daily routines. Devices area part of students’ daily lives, we must make it a part of ours.
• I make a point to make digital citizenship part of my role as 21st Century Learning Specialist. The students know that is a part of what I do, I am not just a “tech guy.” I need everyone’s help!
• It is just like “no running in the halls.” I reinforce it on a continuous, daily basis.
