AUDIENCE
FEEDBACK
I asked these two questions as it enabled me to see if the results would represent all types of people and show I
wasn’t being biased if I made assumptions or hypothesis from the research later on.
From this question I discovered that people watched
music videos either once/twice a
week or once/twice a
month.
As a majority of people do not watch music
videos every day we want to make
our one have a big impact on the first
watch, as it is unlikely that they will watch it again.
Therefore we want to make the story
very clear and make the topic about women in
sport as prominent as possible so the
audience remember it.
As the song ‘Strong’ (the one we are using) is Indie
Pop inspired by Electro Rock we wanted to know if any of these genres were of
interest to people and if they would actually listen
too it.
Luckily the two genres selected the most were Pop and Indie confirming that our genre of music would
be popular and people would want to watch it and enjoy the song – hopefully
they will also find it memorable.
By asking this question I have been able to get ideas of what to include in our music video and what may attract
more viewers.
These answers have been particularly helpful as I now know what not to include in my music video because it may turn certain audience
members away.
These answers have enabled me to see that
people do like Indie music (which our songs
derives from) confirming that we’ve made a good choice of genre and people will
want to listen to it.
Seeing that people are more likely to stream our music video than
download it means that we will want to post it
on YouTube.
