MOI UNIVERSITY BENCHMARKING VISIT

Prof. Henry Mutoro the Deputy Vice-Chancellor(Academic Affairs) hosted a delegation from Moi University at his Office on 3rd June 2014. The delegation included Prof. Nathan Ogechi Deputy Vice-Chancellor(Student Affairs), Prof John Boit Registrar Academic and Ben Onyancha Assistant Registrar Admissions.

Mr Ben Waweru Academic Registrar, Mr. Humphrey O.D. Webuye Deputy Registrar(Deans/Senate) and Ms. Jane Horo Deputy Registrar (Admissions) also attended the meeting.

The delegation from Moi University was on a fact finding mission and sought to get information on best practices in the following areas:

Admission of students Registration of students Student Management Information System Management of student records Examinations Monitoring of academic programmes

Prof. Nathan Ogechi Deputy Vice-Chancellor(Student Affairs) thanked Prof. Henry Mutoro the Deputy Vice-Chancellor(Academic Affairs) and his team for setting aside time to provide very detailed and useful information that will assist Moi University to benchmark with the University of Nairobi.
