Google will not find EVERYTHING that is out there.

Systematic Reviews are great for evidence based practice. You can access some for free via Cochrane Summaries

Other University Libraries provide links to useful information – Like this LibGuide for Nursing. It’s free so use it!

Summon is free to search. Find quality, academic, peer-reviewed information as well as less academic stuff like newspaper articles.

If you find something that you think might be useful, use the Inter-library loans service to access a copy. Ask a member of library staff for more details

E-books are a great alternative when all your mates have borrowed the print copies.

Use the advanced search feature of Google to focus your search (i.e. official reports tend to come in PDF format, you can limit your search to return results in this format only.
