A lot has changed over the years, but one thing remains constant…

You should

ALWAYS dress appropriately for a job interview

You only get one chance to make a

first impression

So make it

count!

Whether you areover-dressed or under-dressed

the employer might think you don’t care enough todress appropriately

Do Your Research!

Call the company to inquire about their dress code, and plan your outfit accordingly

Dress one step up from

the job for which you’re interviewing

Be sure to have at least

two outfits

In case you get a

second interview

Make sure your clothes

fitYou want to be

comfortable both sitting and standing

Arrive at least 15 minutes early and take time to double-check

your appearance

It’s easy to dress so your attire is the only message the interviewer hears

But it is your objective to dress conservatively as a way to let YOUR message shine through

and to affirm the contributions you can make to the company
