NOW BACK TO

RECYCLING

Recycling the following things with school can raise

Some serious Money for Green Council

Projects.

No we haven’t gone crazy! These things will raise money for the Green Council

Take tooth brushes and toothpaste tubes for example.

Most of you will use at least 8 of these a year!

In most homes there are at least 3 people.

So that’s 24 per family.

We have over 550 families in this school.

So that would be 13,200 per year.

School gets 2p per brush or tube. This would make £264 .EASY!

Take any McVities biscuit wrappers.

Most families have at least 1 packet a week.

There are 52 weeks in a year

We have over 550 families in this school.

So that would be 28600 per year.

School gets 2p per brush or tube. This would make £572 .EASY!

It is the same for each of these other pieces of waste.

Our target

is 10,000 units!

Thank you for listeningwe hope you now have a better idea of what the

Green Council would like to achieve this year. For more information on how we are going to do these things,

why not check out the Green Council Blog!
