Adaptive

Adaptive technology refers to any equipment or accommodation that can improve a person’s capacity to learn, to communicate, to solve a problem, or to complete a task through the use of a computer.

A sip-and-puff device allows a person with a disability to navigate computersby controlling inhalations and exhalations.

Assistive

Assistive technology is technology used by individuals with disabilities in order to perform functions that might otherwise be difficult or impossible
