ADMISSION TO IITs AND ISM
CLASS XII PERFORMANCE-BASED ELIGIBILITY CRITERION
Category-wise 20-percentile cut-off marks for the years 2014 and 2015 are
given here.
Cut-off marks for 2014 are same as those published last year. These are for
candidates who completed Class XII in the year 2014.
Cut-off marks for 2015 are calculated from the data given by CoBSE
[Council of Boards of Secondary Education]. These are for candidates who
completed Class XII in the year 2015.
Candidates should be within the 20-percentile of their respective Class XII
boards OR should have 75% [GEN, OBC-NCL] or 70% [SC, ST, PwD]
aggregate marks, irrespective of whether they completed Class XII in 2014
or 2015
For candidates who re-appeared for Class XII in 2015 in all the subjects, the
best performance of the two years (viz., 2014 and 2015) will be considered
to check if they meet the Class XII performance criterion.
