Personal data His full name is Adolf Hitler Pöls. He was

born on April 20, 1889 in Braunau, Austria His parents were Alois Hitler and Klara Pölzl a pair of middle class. It was a school underperforming. at age 17 he ran for the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, but failed the entrance exam. He worked as a bricklayer and sweeper.

In 1914, Hitler joined the German army and fought in World War II until he was wounded in 1918. Stung by defeat, accused of being traitors to the Jews and Marxists. He repelled the Treaty of Versailles in 1919, as too humiliating for Germany. From 1920 he devoted his life to the (Nazi Party) National Socialist Party. In 1923 he attempted a coup but failed and was imprisoned for nine months. In prison he wrote "Mein Kampf," which outlined his nationalist and anti-racist ideas
