TO TAKE THE CHALLENGE
Adventist Health Ministries
Take the Challenge suggestions: Drink an extra glass of water each day, aiming for 8 glasses in one
day
Go for a daily 30 min walk or jog, or play a sport you haven’t tried before
Set aside prayer time at 7 am, 7 pm for the Seven days
Sit as a family at the table for dinner each night
Complete the 5+ a day challenge (2 fruit and 3 vegetables) for a week – eat an extra piece of fruit or vegetable with meals to reach your target by the end of the day
No Chocolate for a week
Set aside 30 min for spiritual devotion each day – pick a specific time of the day

Continued… Visit family you haven’t seen for a few months, or have them over
for a midweek dinner – and keep it simple!
Daily joke challenge – see who can come up with the funniest joke for the week
Mindful eating (keep a food diary for the week, record what you have eaten for each meal)
Take the family for a walk in the park, or have a picnic at the beach
Children cook dinner for the week – create the menu and ensure all the ingredients are available, then each child in the family cooks for a day or two during the week
Attend daily small group meetings for one week – focus on the subject of health, plan each day’s topic
