Committee Structure

Suggested Affinity Group Organizational Structure:

Executive Committee

Affinity Group Chair • The Chair should have a set term to promote succession • The Chair should preside over meetings of the Affinity Group and be responsible for seeing that the

purposes of the Affinity Group are carried out

Affinity Group Vice Chair • The Vice should have a set term to promote succession • The Vice Chair should shall assist the Chair in seeing that the purposes of the Affinity Group are

carried out, assume the duties of the Chair whenever the Chair is unavailable, and become familiar with the work and activities of the Affinity Group to the fullest extent possible

Affinity Group Secretary/Treasurer • The Secretary/Treasurer should have a set term to promote succession • The Secretary/Treasurer should attend meetings of the Affinity Group, keep minutes of the Affinity

Group meetings, and keep track of Affinity Group finances, if applicable.

Affinity Group Membership Chair • The Membership Chair should have a set term to promote succession • The Membership Chair should be responsible for recruitment and retention of Affinity Group members.
